It's too much for 1 person to handle every week. If we had a handfull of people that worked a rotation, that would be less of a burden on us all

For those of you who can wake up early enough to play, Wells Branch will be changing their layout, holes 1,2 and 18 will be moved over to the other side of the cousre behind Whataburger and the Ice skating rink, a parking lot will be made and hole 1 will be on the new side and the longest hole will be over 500 feet. The new lay out is very cool, Wells Branch is no longer a pitch and putt anymore. Don't be a hater and GO 49ERS!!!!!!!!!!!!

Sunday Sunday Sunday... Mini is back and will have a rotating format and location and new tee time. Last week was Singles, so this week will be random draw doubles. Tee at 11:00 and this week will be Northtown. $8 entry $5 to payout $2 ace pot $1 club. Ace pot is at $140 for current Double R members.

The Disc Til Dawn group is holding their mini at Northtown at 9:00, so we will run cards out long enough to accommodate anyone playing in their mini that wish to play in the RR mini. If you've got two rounds in you, it'd be great to show up for their mini and support their rapidly growing group that is doing a lot to grow the sport here in our area. It's a short course and should be quick rounds, so why not play both. Hope to see some of you out there and start rebuilding the Sunday mini to the great weekly constant that it has been in the past.

Thanks to all that showed up. Sorry for the confusion on the start time, and format change. We were trying to encourage more people to play, but the early rounds took longer than anticipated. We will learn from this, and make appropriate changes for next week.

The Double R Disc Golf Club is hosting its weekly Sunday mini. This week will be played at Rivery Park in Georgetown. Sign up by 11:50 am, tee at 12:00 pm. $8 buy in, $5 payout, $2 Ace Pot, $1 Club. It is random draw doubles since we played singles the last 2 weeks. Ace pot is at $156 for current members.

WHAT!!! you guys are going to have a Sunday Mini? WOW!! I thought No one showed up for these Sunday Mini's because of Saturday Night and Sunday Morning Hangover crazy so more than 3 to 5 players are showing up. Still doesn't beat 20 to 30 players at Wells Branch on Sunday Mornings. But Noon is way to late for a Sunday round, I will watch your turn outs I might show up, this is good news I'm pround of our club. ROUND ROCK!

This week we have chosen Wilco for our Sunday mini. We will be starting earlier than usual, as we have a Double R wedding in the late afternoon. $184 Ace Pot for current club members. $8 buy in. $5 payout, $1 Ace Pot, $1 Club, $1 County Course Fee. 9:15 sign up, 9:30 tee, format is singles this week. We usually add $2 to the Ace Pot per player, but since the PARD gets a dollar, we are keeping the entry the same and reducing the Ace by $1
