… so now that I have that batch-of-beauty compiled , choreographed , sealed-up and stored safely away … ( “put on ICE” , so-to-speak ) … until next January … I need to shift gears into a more near-Event mode … the “Rick Neil Charitable AUCTION” will be late-afternoon on September 17 Saturday … at The LODGE Clubhouse … Doc and I will be needing to organize Rick’s stock and possibly catalogue it in advance … Gary Nail has agreed to assist with some photos … further news and details will find my notes-and-responses on that thread : 4th Annual LODGE TEAM Event …

. . … then Thursday , another fun-round of singles on FurDuff Mountain : Bear’s Lair … that one is 6:30pm for tee … great-fun-singles and an Ace Pot over $100.00 … . . … then on Friday … it’s another “Special Edition” of Late-Night-with-Dave-Nicholson at McClure … with the very popular addition of Free Pizza to munch , and Free Beer to sip (if legal-age) … play a cool round of singles for the Fun ; and Support the Oklahoma Open SuperTour tournament … All the Big Dawgs travel in for that one …

Yes but why must one have to buy a newspaper to see them?
 Are you getting kick backs from those guys? Who wants to read about it in the newspaper when we have ESPDGA "Sportcenter" right here? Why not hammer those winners names in stone tablets then? Was my Arch Nemesis Sara Slane there?  I could hear the hoopin and hollerin all the way up to the Moose Lodge which confirms my theory that yes, rust does sleep when frozen in a block of ice.

… just some “refresh info” for Poker-Chips … those Events on the Mini-Schedule which are “Flights Doubles” (run by yours truly) are always a Fundraiser Fun Round … always Draw-Doubles ; always cheap entry ; always offering optional mulligans … examples are “Tuesday Nite Flights” ; “Friday Nite Flights” ; “High Noon Flights” ; etc. … for every participant who enters to play , they earn their name on a “Poker-Chip” number … these Chips are drawn randomly for those assorted Prizes that I show in advance … as a Player’s number is drawn , he/she instantly wins that Disc …
. . … sweet and dreamy stuff … . . ... and "Flights Doubles Events" will be earning Poker-Chips for some NEW , SHINY Treasure-Drawings ... new photos in-the-works ... if Discs were fish , , , here comes your Caviar ... in past Poker-Chip Drawings : you did not need to be present to win ... this time , I am going to defer that (slightly) due to the preference of your New Ice-Bowl-TD : Doug Duff … a winning-Poker-Chip-number must have attended during the Tulsa Ice Bowl … it is possible they may have gone home early ; but if they participated , their Prize will be safe for them … there would also be some Poker-Chip dispersal through some "public notice Challenges" and fund-raising side-matches between now and The Tulsa Ice Bowl ... more good news later ...

… these “Charity-Challenge-Matches” turn out to be nice fundraisers for TULSA ICE BOWL … with that in mind : the following will be in place … whenever a Challenge-Match is set-up and played ; and ICE BOWL donations are accrued ; the “combatants” involved will earn a Poker-Chip … we all know what those Chips will be used for … they’ll be drawn during that ICE BOWL Saturday for plastic treasures …
. … during the last few years , a “Charity-Challenge-Match” transpired between “Bryan-Hinds” and “David-Wise” … Wise won Year-One ; Hinds prevailed in Year-Two … each time , their Match resulted in $50 donated into The Tulsa Ice Bowl … ( THAT amount is be used by our Food Bank to create 350 MEALS throughout our area ! ) … there was also a past-year Match between The FurDog and The Forest involving bowling-ball , trash-can-lid , and Roc expertise … (similar-match with Duff/Dog and Gumby/Trees playing “doubles” added in to ChandlerStock last Spring) … . . . … so with all that variety , I enact this additional “Poker-Chip” deal … with the following stipulations … . … Challenge-Match can be between two-playing-singles -or- four-playing-doubles … … Challenge-Match must be “pre-hyped” or announced publicly beforehand … some spectators or onlookers may want to watch … … Challenge-Match must be at-least 18-holes of Disc-Golf … possibly with “alternative-projectiles” … … the format for play is optional : stroke-play , match-play , skins , best-shot , alternate-shot … … these details are completely up to the challenging-and-accepting Players involved … they must also decide between themselves any issues of Play : Course ; O.B.’s ; Mullies ; etc. … before the first-throw … … these Matches must be done before Monday , Jan. 16 … … Net-Results for the Charity may be cash or check … and must be certain minimum-levels … … a “SINGLES-CHALLENGE-MATCH” must net at least $50. … (25 per player) … a “DOUBLES-CHALLENGE-MATCH” must net at least $80. … (20 per player) . … other factors are always at work with “Challenge-Matches” … bragging-rights , side-bets , grudges , some-people-wearing-dresses , some-people-having-to-caddy , pride , Fun , etc. … . … this is not to askew the Integrity of the “Poker-Chip” … they have always been EARNED … “Flights-Players” (in some less-than-perfect-conditions of Weather) have stepped forward to enter-and-compete in “Flights Doubles Events” (for a $3 to $5 entry) … and they usually get the Mulligans , which drives-up Charitable Dollars … those are still in place with participants earning “Poker-Chips” … I just felt that the ‘much-larger-donations’ of these “Challenge-Matches” should net their combatants a Poker-Chip as well … . … and trust me , you will WANT these Chips …

Looks to me like you might be hinting you and Gumby are looking for another butt wooping from the world champion "Bowling ball, Trash lid, & Disc" doubles team of "Muff-Dog"!!!
No bowling balls for me this time. I want soccer balls or footballs on the drive this time. Punt, pass, or kick, it doesn't matter to me.

HINDS vs WISE 4: Life of Bryan,
will be taking place.... we have upped the Anty this year to a whopping 100$ to the Tulsa Food Bank in Honor of the winner. The record is 1-1-1 (one tie was in Fayetville @ UofA) So I highly encourage other battles to take place. Charity needs us this time of year. You never know when you may be in need yourself someday so let's take care of the less fortunate.
