Default 2011 Australian Disc Golf Championships

The Australian Disc Golf Championships is Australia’s premier tournament and is establishing itself as the biggest tournament in the Southern Hemisphere.

25-27 November 2011
Poimena Reserve, Tasmania, Australia
www.adgc.com.au

Registration opens on Friday 9 September 2011.

Poimena Reserve is Australia’s oldest and most distinguished disc golf course. It's a beautiful spot, spectacularly overlooking the River Derwent with sweeping panoramas across to Mount Wellington.

Nate Doss lists this course in his top 4 courses in the World.

The pro purse is $3,000 and the tournament is promising a rich disc golf and cultural experience for ams and pros.

As well as a fantastic competition, this tournament is using its profile to help grass roots development. With Innova's support, the tournament is raising funds to run a disc golf program in local schools with the E.D.G.E program with Des and Jay Reading.

It is also raising funds for the 'Save the Tasmanian Devil' appeal.

Innova are the principal partner and are releasing a new disc to support the event - look out for the TeeDevil.

Discmania are on board too - look out for a limited edition fundraiser disc from them.

This tournament attracts Australia’s best players, and they will be joined by some great players from overseas.

Anyone playing this event will be guaranteed a great time and a warm Australian welcome.

Please check in the website, or follow the tournament on Facebook.

Hope to see ya.
