Please act nice even if you're not nice. As all of you have said a thousand times or more Wednesday is about fun & family. I imagine some of our old family will make it out tonight, so let's not get each other all riled up for nothing. This is the tribute the cabinet decided on & our members should support that or play elsewhere. Either way - don't act out during an emotional dificult time for others.

My plans are to be there today to support the Hovey's. I knew Ian and played a few rounds with him as well as his dad in the past....Not worried about payout, but do have tags (old & new) to play for, heck there could even be some side bets on the round if someone gets that going, like maybe a dollar(per person) on the card........Today and the rest of the month should be about helping fellow golfers during a real tough time.......We did it for Ricky, why not John & laura Hovey?? I know I will feel better about myself when I lay my head down tonight knowing I was helping another person or persons.........Like the good book says "give unto others as you would give unto yourself".......see yall this afternoon.........like C-Ware said, bring some CTP's....you will feel better for it, believe me..

we have help out plenty of people in the past.........but we have never made our minis a complete charity event......All you head shakers think I don't care about helping the a family in need......well just keep shaking your heads......Cause I answer to one person. This could of been different.....like why don't we just give the family our ace pot ?.............This something we have done in the past.
I'll be there tonight and I will donate my $ 5, I will not be playing for score just Aces.......and seems like I have misplaced my tag....maybe I will find it tommorow

Good to see you guys even for a short time this afternoon. Hope you can get some good $ for the bag and shoulder straps for the Hoveys. Couldn't stay long because Belinda was in the car and we were on the way home. I can stay longer tomorrow at Wilco and shoot the bull. See you guys there!

thanks again for all the folks who support this idea and thank you LT for the merch.

if you dont like this idea please keep your OPINIONS to yourself.. and you wonder why know one jumps in and volunteers to help when you want to do course work days?? maybe you should run for cabinet this nov so you can implement all your great ideas and run the minis how YOU see fit !!!! thanks again for trying to take something positive and put a bad spin on it. maybe I should have said this $$ was for USWDGC then it would be all GOOD.. and its just a little piece of round metal....

ps you are more then welcome to do what you were saying last night and donate $20 and go play else where on weds..

Whatever! If you knew people like you think you do then you would know I think helping the family out is important.
This is America and they settled free speech along time ago, and if someone wants to polish the way they are percived to prove worth than to improve their home course again its America.
Thanks for your insight cause your opinion means SO much to me.
PS: I don't need your permission for anything.....MR ambASSador of Center Texas Disc Golf

Very proud to see the host club/co TD for the largest ladies tournament in the world out arguing over $5 on a public forum a month away from the tournament. This will surely assist us in getting all of our course work days/set up, staffing needs met. Thank goodness no one reads this anymore. Shaking head - entirely difrent reason.

Greetings Wednesday golfers, as a reminder, this Saturday is the Double R bag tag tourney at OSP. If anyone planning to attend has some items we could raise $$ for via a raffle, please bring them to the Wednesday mini (tomorrow) if possible. Perhaps some discs that are in good shape that you don't use, a spare cart, anything like that. Thanks and see y'all there....at the WINTER LOT, 5:30pm tee time.

LOVE U B - can't wait to see you in September!!!

Blake was out working on the OB for the bag tag challenge/Outlaw's/USWDGC (thank you , thank you, thank you). Sounds like 1st 2 marked holes will be A & C. I think these 2 holes will be done before the mini tonight. If so the string will define the OB & previous OB markings on the strung holes will not be in play. This will affect A the most as the staples will not go in to the packed calichie road, thus moving the line in a foot or so. Just wanted to make sure you knew before the round.

I wonder if US Masters had any fundraisers. Maybe money just fell out of the sky for US Masters. That must be how they got money for US Masters, cause they couldn't have done it by having fundraisers - nah, that couldn't be how they got the money. Must have fallen from the sky. Must have.
