Good job Matt on getting Leon's to sponsor your mini! I think Leon's even has a sandwich named after Barry Sanders, so you can't go wrong with a place like that.

Nice Round Kyle.
Throwing down a -15 will put anyone in a good mood.

I have been very pleased with the grounds maintenance at the River. Every Tuesday it looks great.

We are working on replacing the damaged tee sign for hole 5. The RPA is paying for it since it was damaged by either one of their crew or the trail construction company.

Next on the list is anchors for all 18 holes. This will give the course a different look and allow grass to grow back, hole 9 is a prime example.

Thanks for supporting the TDSA by your memberships and playing our local mini's.

The Forest has seized Riverside, at least for tonight.

Regular mini is nada but you should be there for Wayne's event, sign ups starting at 6:45:

… great weather on tap … park-it at Riverside … “Tuesday Nite Flights” will have sign-ups start at 6:45pm … we look to tee at 7:30pm … ‘cuz when the weather turns cold-again-next-winter, these are Poker-Chips you’ll be glad you got …

There is a mini scheduled for tonight at Riverside.

Matt and I will be there but please heed this warning. The weather folks are really talking up the possibility of storms hitting late afternoon and early evening.

That sounds pretty close to our tee time. If the weather is too bad to start, we will cancel.

If the weather gets bad during the round, we will honk everyone in and cancel at that point.

I am not going to let someone get struck by lightning or any other weather related injuries over a simple mini.

Not only would that be terrible for the individual but it wouldn't make for good press either.

Feel free to come on out but be aware of the possibility of it being cancelled.

If that happens you can head to Leon's for $1.00 taco's and $5.00 pitchers. Ride the storm out there.

Keep an eye on the weather and make your decision accordingly.

Who rattled your cage?

Crawl back in your frady hole buddy..

Did I say it was cancelled or did I say we would be there?

The weather is looking bad out west right now, and seems to be headed our way.

After the storm in Joplin I am not taking any chances. Come on out if you must be be prepared to head home as this mini may not happen..

We will be there but I am not staying long if the storm is bad..

I called Chuck Norris and he said to cancel.

We had maybe 4 people show up and none of them wanted to chance it either.

Actually the park security guy in the little Smart Car came over and said to try and get everyone out in the next 30 minutes. He was stopping all joggers and walkers as well.

So, no mini last night but no one was injured either..

On to Hunter tonight where the forecast looks much better.

I don't know man. That excuse sounds a little weak.

The storm didn't actually hit Riverside until 7:30pm. That should have been enough time to play 2 minis there if they played speed golf.

You official report to the club should be:

]"The mini happened like normal and finished with four players tied for first place. Therefore they all got their entry back".....and you should deposit $4 into the club treasury.

Don't start slacking now. You're the SC so you need to lead by example.

The only reason you got that course is because you told the Admins that you wanted that course because you were wanting Matt and Andrew to hook up with some hottie jogger down there and hopfully move out of your house.

I heard Matt found a connection but last I heard Andrew was still dating some large mouth bass he met in the pond at Bass Pro. Word is there may be some minnows on the way and you might be a grandpa soon. Perhaps you should open up a sushi bar in Sand Springs.

So outside of the comments concerning my offspring, some of which I agree with, as long as I give the TDSA $4.00 I am OK??

Just keep $3 for yourself and give me $1 and I won't tell the other guys.

I don't know which parent I learned this from but whenever an idea was presented to them that they didn't like they would sometimes say......

"Let's don't and say we did."
