Chris mentioned during sign-up he would need to leave early and might not finish his round. He also mentioned to the card he would need to leave early.
On the payout subject - I personally feel w/ a flex start and the fact that some cards take much longer to finish than others - it does not make sense to have people possibly waiting an additional hour or two to see if they made payout and recieve their money.
Not sure that forcing people to be present to get payout is good for Disc Golf. Also think this thread and these responses are also bad for Disc Golf.

Cabinet will address the payout subject.

Lets remember to check daylight after today's round; if there's enough we can push back start time for the remaining 2 weeks.

Wikipedia is adding this as entry #1 under: Wood Tick, the dialect.

"sperm back, or snake buggers" I may not be able to sleep with that idea rolling around in my head.

r u trying toto say you don't want me to play? this leage was made for me - 11 strokes - I'll have to keep my bada$$ game under control this week so I don't lose too many strokes for the last week of this league.

What's the next league guys? Heard something about handicap on the big course, but it doesn't seem fair to take handicaps from a pitch & puTT to a real course. If handicap is it, are we gonna re-establish new handicaps after the move by playing (here it comes) singles on the big course for a few weeks? Singles or handicap could be hard to pull of with short days unless we play as threesomes.

Cabinet meets this Sunday and will determine the format for the big course. There are several thoughts so provide your feedback to a cabinet member tonight.

Ideas:
- couple (2) weeks of doubles then on to a handicap league
- go straight to a handicap league

Handicap thoughts are:
- you take your winter handicap to the big course for week 1, then the handicap is calculate off your last 3 scores.

In your case laura:
- you would take 11 handicap to big course (par 63)
- lets say you shoot 11 over - handicap score would be even - 63
- Week 2 handicap would be 74 (what you broght over) + 74 (what you shot) = 11 handicap

Still working out the details but would love to hear club member feedback.

Those with higher handicaps DO have an advantage, but only because on any given day, there's more chances to play better than usual....i mean with a -4 handicap you are already playing close to ideal....with a +11 though.....complete opposite...more chances to excel better than usual, as Lala demonstrated last week.

And that's EXACTLY why we do it.....the better players don't get to dominate as they usually do.
