Is it true that the VTI and the Pro Crosstown is the same weekend?

Confirmed. It was originally the same weekend but the crosstown moved back a weekend to not interfere.

I'm 7 or more years away from my 100th PDGA win. All who bet against it ever happening will be sadly mistaken.

I'm 1 Open win away from my original goal of 50 PDGA pro wins, next goal is to jump it up to 100 then retire :P My 2011 goal is to get 15 wins (planning on playing a lot of smaller B & C tiers) and was just curious to how many people have actually done that before. I realize the top players all have the skills to achieve it, though they choose to play the larger tournaments which makes it that much more difficult.

Hasn't that question already been answered? 15 wins in a season is a lot even for the top guys in any tier.

Since I was brough up in this conversation I'll put my results out there for ya. I currently have 119 pro singles sanctioned wins , (25 A-tier wins). The most wins I had in a season was in 1998 I had 13 wins.

I never kept track of wins or Aces. Lot's of events did not have trophies so it's hard to count them.

How about Dave Dunipace or Harold Duvall? Lavone Wolfe?
In the women's division, Juliana Korver of course is on the list (she also cashed in 2001 at what's normally considered the 'mens' USDGC!) Elaine King, Valerie Jenkins and other ladies are probably on that list too... Last edited by AviarX; Mar 10 2012 at 10:17 AM. |

Looks like no Majors or NT wins for Schwebbie, but how 'bout a Super Class win? Those are my only wins ever in Open...

If anyone ever wants to head up a History of PDGA Tournament Stats Project, I'd be glad to help out. A possible funding source would be to apply for a PDGA Innovation Grant. The PDGA has boxes of paper result from the 80s and 90s in storage that would be great to get into the record. |

If most of the tournament stats before 2000 can ever be placed online, we can calculate ratings in reverse to determine player and course ratings as far back as we have scoring results.

Then you're going to discount all of those Hall of Famer wins back before beveled edged discs, too? That's when DGRZ001 Burns said he was good...
