it was a season series bet. so being the redskins won the first meeting by 6, the cowboys had to win the second game by 7 or more. they only won by 3. so as a result i have to wear a jersey and carry stevos bag for 18 holes next wednesday. no worries here, i can deal with wearing a Washington Redskins Jersey for one day. Dont know if there is one in Texas or if it will have anyones name on it that anyone knows. Riggins maybe. Its all good, i will even take a video and post it on youtube during the event. And playing with Laura and chris will be a treat, just like friday skins, nothing different. Question is, will these fare weather 4skins fans be showing their TRUE colors and wear their jerseys too.

If you need one, the Redskins web site has discounted their McNabb jersey's, 1/2 off, close out special.

Just saying.

(not a Cowboy fan) Go Packers!

Can't wait to see Manny in a Deadskins' uniform....................I'm not sure whats tougher, wearing that ugly shirt or watching either team play this year.....with both being 5 & 9.......its a shame we are not in the NFC west this year...........Oh well, there's always next year for one of us.......and with all the s hitting the fan in Washington right now.....you can be sure it will not be the Deadskins' doing any better than this year...............Poor Donavan, at least he signed that big deal before he got benched for a loser from Florida.......what a bum he is........Gossman that is...but at least he is your bum not ours........now we get to see which team ends up DFL in the NFC East.............the way this season has gone, we will probably tie for DFL....

People wearing a Washington Redskins Jersey count will go to 4 in Texas that day, then after the round, back down to 3. I'm actually looking forward to it. It will make the other 3 fans in Texas happy that I'm wearing their teams jersey.

Enjoy Redskins fans.

Here we go again, lot of arguing will be going on!

Taken directly from the 2011 PDGA Official Rules of Play:

Summary of Rules Changes

Definitions of the basket and its components have been added to the Glossary so that we no longer have to use the phrase "entrapment section ".

The definition of holing out has been tightened up a bit. A putt that sticks in the side of the tray, or hangs outside the tray from one of the nubs, no longer counts.

The hole has been completed once the disc has come to rest, not when the disc is removed.

The "unplayable lie" rule has been reformulated into an "optional rethrow" rule. It is now clear that penalty strokes are not added if the rethrow option is taken, so that double jeopardy is avoided.

The rules for a lie above ground have been changed to include a lie below ground (in a crevice or below a bridge, for example).

The relief rules have been simplified. You can’t move anything unless it’s in your stance. If something is both in your stance and between your lie and the hole, you can move it. You can always ask people to move themselves or their stuff if they are in your way.

The 5-meter relief rule has been extended to anywhere back along the line of play, and moved to the relief Section .

A director may designate a drop zone to be used for lost disc on a hole.

This explains one of the changes:

It's in the new rules. The three points are supported but the words in red.

B. Disc Entrapment Devices: In order to hole out, the thrower must release the disc and it must come to rest supported by the chains and/or the inner cylinder (bottom and inside wall) of the tray. It may be additionally supported by the pole. A disc observed by two or more players of the group or an official to have entered the target below the top of the tray or above the bottom of the chain support is not holed out.

Thus if you can't see the disc enter the basket, it counts. If you see enter from the top and wedges, it counts no matter how badly wedged. If you see it enter below the basket, it does not count.

Thanks LT...........I would have never figured that out by myself..........nor would I want too.......so lets see......if it's in the basket (hole) it count's..........If its not (in the basket).............................it does not count,,,,unless it comes from below?????...........How far below?? And why?? Or who was who??........................Not easy to decide whom had more fun tonight.......LT telling you....What tag # do you have!!!!................Or Ed-Man Telling you you suck??!!!.....Neither one easy to take..............But because its Christmas & we saw Santa tonight.........He was there again tonight believe me...........It was another great ending to another Double R Disc Club Year (2010)..............I wish everyone a wonderful Christmas and a Happy New Year and hope all your dreams come true and everything you ever wanted you get..................and then some.............see all you guys and gals in 2011 (oh my god I'll be 55)........or sooner..........MERRY CHRISTMAS AND A HAPPY NEW YEAR,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,......................... .........................................2010 11.10

The guy I copied is talking about entering above the top of the basket not the part the chains hang from. He said even if it wedges and is hanging out the back of the basket, it counts. It entered the basket legally. Someone ought to print out the new rules, there will be a lot of arguing going on!

Afterwards I want to invite anyone from the club and the NEW YEARS SKINS over to my house for blackeye peas /cabbage....we will call it a house warming party.
