That picture looks like the guy who rolled his Honda on hole 8 on the island course. Jim had to come pull him out with the truck.

Bad scene for some, funny scene for most. lol.

But really Honda's that are off the road are no laughing matter.

Well in rebutal and in all fairness based on the protesting PM I received I must point out that guys like this...

...have gone on to make millions and to do great things in life for mankind such as creating or inventing Microsoft, Intel, IBM, and video games.

Perhaps sucking at DG is just a sign along the path of life which leads to bigger and greater things.

I think it's a great idea.

You should consider ACE pots over $100 to be a two coin slot machine and being such except 1/2 the pot if you're not willing to plug more than one coin into it.

I guess you're right, if people want to receive the full benefits of an organized event and an acepot etc. they should become a member. People can always go shop at walmart but if they want to go to sams where they can get better bulk deals, they pay the upfront membership. I guess the TDSA is considering organized minis, course maintenance, and a schwag bag to be the benefits of the membership.

I think the whole acepot thing is pretty unnecessary, but I can see where you're coming from even if I don't agree.

Well I've got other idea's too like why can't I buy Nite Flight mullies through the ODGF and get a tax break on my $5?

Why isn't there a traveling ace pot for the Nite deals as well because then you might see some super large turnout when it got over 2 or 3 hundred.

There are a couple reasons why this doesn't work. One being that is a TDSA function and has nothing to do with the OKDGF. However, we do work with the TDSA from time to time and plan to in the future. More importantly, the $5 of mulligans go directly to OO payout, contributing to pro payout is not one of our goals or functions as a foundation.

There will be more information to come soon that discloses all of our functions and reasons for existing.

Scott, if you're looking for a tax break why don't you just forge a Salvation Army donation receipt like everyone else

I am surprised there was a mini. When I looked on the schedule I didnt see one on there. I am happy for Gary but if there is anything to be upset about its shwoing up every week and investing my $$ in the ace pot and then its given away at a mini that not documneted on the schedule. That sucks.

I believe Sean (SPY) shot a 47 not a 46 (reason I now have his tag).
Also Kyle I almost made the same mistake you did by looking at the TDSA schedule page and not seeing the mini listed and then looking at another part of the schedule that listed regular mini times. I don't think the old minis had been listed this way and that's why it's easy to miss.
As far as the ace pot goes (and yes I saw Gary's ace and it was a beauty), we are trying to get more people involved in the TDSA club. I believe all the TD's that are running and making these minis possible are TDSA members.

Well due to all the secret money kickbacks I've been getting from renting out my mountain to LS Discs, Duff, Barton, and Slim, I have developed a need for tax write offs to keep me out of higher tax brackets.

Perhaps if you could rent out your space to someone other than those bums living in their vans done by the river, you might have the same problem too.

Do you know of any accountants with offshore accounts that can launder some money for me???

BTW, don't tell Hicks about the kickbacks because he might want in for a percentage.

Kyle, sorry you missed the mini. I didn't notice the different format on the TDSA schedule and I guess it was a little confusing.

I always post a "mini at riverside tonight" post on this board to encourage participation.

Your input is always welcome!!

KYLE WILKES, and others, there will be a mini tonight at Riverside..

Flex starts encouraged with final tee time at 6:00pm.. Third day in a row for River play so we should see some low scores..

There are only two more weeknight Riverside minis this year, counting tonight, so come on out..

See you there..

PS. The Claremore City Council meeting went pretty well. I am pretty sure there will be a course installed but there is still "discussion" on its location.

If they stray away from the lake, then they are not listening to what more than one person has told them.

I understand Dave. It is a tough sell for sure. These people have lived there for years and claim the park is full every weekend. They allow people to park where ever, meaning by picnic tables or charcoal grills. I picture a mini-red hawk..

Their main focus seems to be on walking, church gatherings and weddings...

I am still working on it..

MIke, they have more land around that lake than they know what to do with. I have been out there many times and the place is empty.

I lived in Claremore for awhile. I know that they are real protective of that lake! They do have plenty of property in several areas around that lake BUT...
Mike thanks for all the work, at least they are considering it! Do they know where the baskets that they already have are?

I asked and they have no idea. I think they were probably stolen over time..

Dave, there is a lot of land around the lake, but, trying to get it approved for right around the lake office...

Default This is it..

Tonight is the last night for weekly minis at Riverside until next Spring.

We kicked off on April 6th, that is 26 minis in a row, just to save you the math.

This has been a fun season with some great scores and a few aces and lots of camaraderie!!

Flex starts, tee time at 6:00 for those that are left. It is getting dark early so come on out and get started..

See you there...
