I lost a Special Blend red Orc with my name, Cris Hicks, on the underside of it a couple of weeks ago. I lost it either at Black Hawk or possible hole 1 (left it) at Moose Run. Reward if it comes back to me.

Someone please check on the baskets at the Civitan. Saw a newer model Blue toyota prius pulling into Kum n Go in Muskogee with a basket in the rear. It was a course style basket and not a traveler. It could very well have been these two guys basket but it just didn't feel right. I didn't get the tag because I was leaving as they were pulling in. But I got a pretty good description and if baskets are missing might be able to use video from the store to get the tag #. This was on 8-17-10 about 10:15 on peak Blvd in Muskogee. Thanks.

I don't bid against anything I sell. Go ahead and jump on them, it appears they are not having the result they expected on them.
I have one not listed on Ebay, it is a Blue Galaxy /Battle cry / rainbow stamp /rancho mold / roc+ 1 of 50 in that combination. marked #133 of 300. |

Found this in my email this morning!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
For immediate release: August 25, 2010 This year marks the 12th anniversary of the United States Disc Golf Championship (USDGC). Since its inception in 1999, the USDGC has grown into one of disc golf’s premier championship events. Innova Disc Golf, in association with the event’s many volunteers, sponsors, USDGC Partners, Winthrop University, and the Professional Disc Golf Association, is extremely proud to have been such an integral part of our game’s history. Innova considers it a privilege to be in a leadership position. We have seen disc golf, and our business, grow and change tremendously over nearly three decades. The disc golf market is continually expanding and Innova is more committed than ever to improving our service to this incredibly diverse community of players. In recognition of the growth of disc golf around the globe, we have decided to move the USDGC to a biennial schedule. Effective immediately, the USDGC will alternate years with Europe’s major event – The European Open. The USDGC will be held in even numbered years and the European Open in odd numbered years. This will enable better global promotion of professional disc golf, as well as afford us an opportunity to serve another important segment of the disc golf population. Amateur and recreational golfers represent the fastest growing portion of the disc golf community. With these players in mind, a new event will visit the famous grounds at Winthrop University in 2011. Details will be forthcoming, but two of the guiding principles will be: Amateurism and Fun Competition in a Professional Setting at Winthrop. Despite these changes our mission remains the same; to live disc golf and to enable others to discover such a wonderful lifetime sport. We are excited about the future of disc golf, more so than ever before. Opportunity for the game’s advancement abounds. We are confident that this new schedule will allow the USDGC to sustain its tradition of excellence, while building an even better fan base for the game’s elite. One thing you can count on this fall is that Innova and the USDGC family are steadily preparing for our greatest tournament experience to date. We look forward to October, and to seeing you here. Warmest regards, Innova Disc Golf |

Paul, I think it is their belief that by having it every two years it will allow them to put even more money towards the payout. Just think if 1st paid 30K instead of 15k.
How do you think we feel as partners? Annual membership for a bi-annual event. And, if you don't like that announcement, just wait till you get the next one. |

Thats a good one Dave.
The announcment means Innova has also figured out there is profit in ams and only cash out for pro's.. And, they want to expand their Europe market. I can't say I blame them on either front, but business and nothing else is the motivating factor here..

I didn't tell them where to focus Mike.
I think that all players that are against this should boycott the event in 2011. I know I will. |

I understand Dave, and you are most likely correct about the change. I for one am not ready to accept it.
When I read saw the press announcement in my email, I thought oh crap, things are about to change.. I continue floating down the river of denial!!! I doubt I boycott, but the luster of being a USDGC partner isn't what it used to be. We both have Roc's on ebay and I am shocked at the lack of activity and low bid amounts. But, when they announced the general public can by the same disc in two weeks, that has caused a certain amount of confusion amongst the Roc collectors!!!

There are essentially 3 events every year that are ones you would probably prefer not to miss. Worlds (lots of rounds, good time)... Vibram (awesome tourney because of the Dodges, professionalism)... and USDGC (payout, professionalism) ... and they are taking away US??
How can you do away with the tradition and prestige of THE US CHAMPIONSHIP? Money aside... the professionalism involved with the event and the thrill of trying to qualify as a player for the best event of the year... this will take some of my drive away to travel and play NTs, if I don't need to qualify for a spot. I really hope they reconsider, but I highly doubt they will, since they have made it public. Do they really think more players will travel to europe to play in the open? I mean, surely, there will be more attendance, but not really THAT much more. Oh man, this is sad news. I will cherish this year's tournament even more now.
