Wilco is played pretty heavily - not like Searight or anything, but a lot of casual play. It's pretty easy to get around any day of the week/weekend.

should the words " double R disc golf club" be taking off the forms?
I thought this was being hosted by ED and not the club.....maybe the "WTF club" (women throwing frisbees)will step up to host USWDGC next year cause you got to have a host club. We got the TD'S just need a club

How has the club been included in the past with running Outlaws? Really, other than a few people that step up every year, what has "the club" done? Outlaws was Vinnie's tournament - he gave it to Ed in hopes that with Ed's vision & leadership some day the club would & run it's home event. That hasn't happened. What's new or confusing about that?

Vinnie - behave. Thanx

The club is included to the extent of the members Nix. I have had a tough time recruiting folks to help out. On another note I'm very proud to announce that Able Gonzalez has stepped up and is my assistant TD. We will put on a show that will be memorable to all.

I know many of you are upset I'm not using the permanent course for this tournament. Unfortunately this year it was out of my control because of the events planned in the park that weekend. Those of you who plan on playing will see exactly what I'm talking about. On line sign up will be available very soon at Discnation.

Lala- semantics.

Edman- I hear ya. Thanks for your honesty. I have not met Able, but from what I have read you'll have competent staff! Good luck to you and your tourney.

We will be out there setting up friday morn before doubles at wilco. If you want to come out and help set up that would be awesome. That would let you get a good look at the course too!

Little over a month out for the tourney. Sign-up at discnation or let me know at the Wednesday mini if you want to play or sponsor the event.

Not sure Patti Cakes. I think the rec will play short tees on a few holes. I've heard grumblings of an old ladies - I mean Advanced Masters division.

With all players on the same course at the same time It will make sense to do short boxes on the long holes. It is so much easier to do everybody from the same box but it will most likely cause delays for the entire tournament. I'll have it shook loose this week with the details.

Current registration is now up. http://www.pdga.com/tournament-results?TournID=10738

Planning on a great event for this year. Discnation.com will get you all ready for the event from signup to gear. Doubles will be at Wilco, flex start from 2-5 on Friday the 24th. Int. and Adv. $22/team Pro. $32 team. Ams will get to pick ther own payout starting Sat. at lunch. Scroll to the top to check the full schedule please.

BIG things happening this year. We are going to raffle off a used car. It's legal in all regards and the A/C blows cold. Tickets will be $5 or 5 for $20. Proceeds from this will be 50/50. Outlaws/2 women's event next year(TWC-Women's Nationals). I'll get some info up on the car soon and I'll have tickets starting at the mini tomorrow at the Rock. Getting to Crunch time on the sponsorship also. I've got to get my sponsor layout to the t-shirt guy Tuesday so please let me know how you can sponsor this event. Need more pro's should be well above Btier added limit.

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------

We are about 1/3rd full. There are still some spots open, but don't wait till the last minute and miss your opportunity to play one of the best 2 day B-tiers in Central Texas. We have alot of great things going on for this event. We are still giving away the car. Raffle tickets are available for $5 a piece or 5 for $20. We are also adding at least $750 to the payout. It is going to be a great time and we are playing Wilco and the South Course at Old Settlers. Don't miss you chance to play the South Course! You can sign up at www.discnation.com We look forward to seeing you guys out there.
