Man, what happened to the limp-wristed dragon logo?

Y'alls new logo is dam sharp; y'all might actually have a shot this year at teams with that logo.

Real nice job on the webpage also.

Additions & changes to the web site come from the members to the cabinet & then from the cabinet to the web designer. Our intention is to store most of our phots on the Double R face book page.

Sunday afternoon I commandeered the #3 tag from Manny at wilco. It will be making a pilgrimage to KC this week. So the soonest it will be available is Tuesday the 24th at the mini at San Gabe!

my #1 is still safely tucked away, i defended it once last Wed at the Rock, lucky I got Eddie and he responded well to my spurs, extra ace beer, etc, heh.

I know i won't have it for long. LT's been salivating for the last 6 days, as an example. Remote chance i can play today, more of a chance tomorrow, but FOR SURE on Wednesday.

Default Project Manager needed

When we finished the t-boxes over at WILCO a few years back we donated all the old forms to the Brushy Creek MUD, the entity that resides over the Cat Hollow DGC. We needed a place to get rid of them and knew they were interested in laying down concrete t-pads someday. They have recently contacted me to see if we are still interested in assisting them on the design and installation. We have successfully installed 2 courses, OSP and WILCO and it just about killed the members that were able to find time to contribute. We now have 2 beautiful parks with concrete that we can hang our hat on in the RR area.
There are many difference’s in the CHDGC and those 2 parks. First thing is the DBLRDGC will incur no cost for this project. The second is we won’t be leading it up as a club. I’m looking for a project manager that can work with them on scheduling the dates, layout and labor. There are 2 weekly mini’s at the course now and boy has that place taken it’s licks on wear and tear. I have briefly spoke with the guys at Wanna Play Disc Golf Store and they feel that it will be no problem to get enough of the locals that play there now to pitch in and help. Somebody that has worked with us on the other 2 courses would be prime to take on this project. You would have to have a little bit of knowledge about concrete and the process. My plate these days are way to full to handle it with Outlaws, TWC and Women’s National’s on my plate. I would hate to see the area miss an opportunity just because I’m to busy to lead it up. So I’m looking for somebody to take this on with the help of myself and other willing club members as well as locals from the course. There time frame is this fall/winter on installing them. Please let me know if you are interested in progressing the sport of Disc Golf and improving the courses in the RR area.

Fun round with 7 guys at Brushy. Started a little late at 5:30 and finished 3 hrs later. Lets try to move it a long a little quicker next time. No exchange of tags since we did a Chinese fire drill with teams. Warning. On hole 3 if you make it straight down the fairway on the mulch. On the left just before the mulch does a 90 degree turn to the left there is a ground hornet nest (look like yellow jackets) on the left in a stump. Bigarm found out the hard way and got out of their way with a minimum of 4 stings. If someone is going to play the course bring some wasp(can)killer or a water bottle of diesel. Just pour down the hole and if it gets on them they can't fly.
