We missed twice & went to the drop zone & we all got circle 6's.

This was on long hole 3 - down hill. I think Able made it (the drop zone) as we played the hole & told the card behind us. Don't think the Pro Card all missed the island twice, so it shouldn't have affected scores. If they did, then it was a ruling made for the ams only & Pros reteed until they made it.

I will have the paint down today. It will be ready by 5pm. See you guys out there. Ace pot is at $124, and there are some real good chances for an ace at San Gabriel.

Sweet - if my day doesn't go to shida, I'll be out again. Wasn't sure about the paint - never heard from you. Would have been happy to have the club provide paint & the paint stick - all you gotta do is lemme know. Whoops...

Weather looks clear in georgetown for the mini. Go to www.weather.com and type in zip code 78626. It looks like it will miss us out there. Make sure you call me @ 512 560-2444 if you have any questions.

You guys should have made it out today. The weather was awesome! The sun even made an apperance as we were wrapping up. We actually stuck around for another quick 9 after the round. Any way we had 5 players 3 open and 2 am.

Open
Vinnie 1st $15
Blake 2nd
Chris W. 3rd

Am
Abel 1st $10
Larry 2nd

The ace pot is up to $134 and the bonus pool is up to $68 for open and $66 for am. 8 weeks left, so make sure you make it out and get your 5 rounds in so that you can get paid.

I played San Gabriel yesterday. I can't say I like the new layout MORE than the old one, but all in all its not bad, and I am definitely planning on heading out there more often.

I didn't see that there were alt boxes on every hole. Where's the alt for #2, #4, #5, #6? Liked the red "island areas" on the holes that had them.

I pull the flags on the alt boxes every week so they don't get in the way of the parks dept mowing. I think I missed one box last tuesday. I usually show up early every tuesday and put the alt boxes out.

We will be out there this morning finishing up the clean up and prep. I appreciate everyones help. We can move it to the Rivery if everyone wants to, or we can leave it at san gabe. I am open to either course.

The Rivery is fine with me. I just don't have a way of letting everyone know where it is going to be. I would hate for someone to show up at san gabe today. If you can let everyone know that would be great. So Rivery it is today instead of san gabe. We will resume with San gabe next week.

Rivery sounds fun and shady. Portland was the bomb, hottest it got was 80, 90's this week there so we left in time to get back down to the furnace we call home. I'll bring some xtra bags so you then. 5:00 tee?

Also, props to Vinnie on getting an ace on 8. Martin nearly skipped in and covered it on the next throw, nice run.
