He had us start on hole 2. We had fun but weren't playing that great. Then when we come back through to play our last hole, #1. There is a group on the green and a group or two waiting. Made it pretty simple at that point. Its hot, there is a wait, I only have one hole left and my truck is right here with the air conditioning going.

I left with Sean and Johnny still planning on playing the hole, I guess they followed my lead.

Well I got a text message last night from Popa Treat wanting a re-match at Chandler this Thursday. He didn't take the loss last week too well. Figures after I spanked his butt on Moose last week he would want a rematch on the short course.

I guess I need to find out what tag # he has so I'll know if it's worth my time.

And they're off!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Wait a minute, we have a problem coming down the home stretch. The strewards have put up the inquiry sign. Looks like a foul has been comitted. We will wait for their decision.

And its Papa Treat leaving his wrecked chair behind dtermined to cross the finish line.

While FurDog has been owned once again and left in the fairway to burn baby burn!

I believe Popa Treat's downfall was the fact that he took his shirt off and ran around like a 51 year old Tarzan showing his hairy "nips" trying to impress the ladies. I believe when they failed to "ooh" and "ahh" like he expected, his confidence waned out and his game turned into something I leave on the course and most people try to avoid stepping in.

I was there to do battle against Slane which ended in a tie. Beating Popa Treat was just an afterthought. Kind of like finding an extra prize in a box of Cracker Jacks.

I know the humiliation afterwards got to him thus the reason for him bribing Matt to credit you on the board. He didn't kick his bag or anything like you do and I told him that I wouldn't tell anyone but after I saw the attemped "cover up" on the board I could no longer remain silent.

I'm sure he'll be along any minute now to do a press conference about the whole incident.

First of all we are not playing the mini if it is on the short course. We will play the big boy course.

Second, I was up 5 and figured you had caved as usual so I let off the gas and ended up with a 6 on hole 11.

From that point on you looked like Climo. I swear you could have thrown through a picket fence. Hole after throw I saw you close your eyes, throw as hard as you can and end up in your putting range, which is about 2 feet. Talk about playing over your head, wow!!!

You and I know I should have won by at least 10 strokes. Please continue to leave your shirt on as the horror of that gut, total lack of any muscle mass and that strange white glow that comes off your body is way too much for public consumption.

Just the weekend before you said, and I quote, " Yeah man you're all buff, you can take your shirt off, not me man." Honestly I was pretty uncomfortable with all the man love you were throwing my way. I assumed baby sitting pads had finally gotten to you, now I am not sure.

So now that the record is straight, see you at Chandler big boy.

Oh yeah one more thing. I had nothing to do with the posting on the board. I was at work.

You told me, don't worry man I won't tell anybody, well I guess I know what your word is worth!!

BTW Wise, you forget that I am about 5 months older than you therefore my intellegence level is way above yours.

Perfect example is when your wife wanted a horse you go out and get a real one and now spend your money on hay and most afternoons standing behind it with a shovel.

Had she been my wife I would have got her one of these..

No barn to rent, no trailor to buy, no horse crap to pick up, and on top of that I could have made money out of the deal.

The fact that you were born close to Halloween speaks for itself and I can only imagine the disapointment on your mother's face upon gazing on you and finding out that the hospital could come up with Dingos to steal her baby.

Well considering she turned you down the first time you asked her to marry you in Eureka Springs just says that you aren't the only one that had a good laugh over the subject.

Talk about missing the big putt.

I assume she must have finally said yes after you signed the pre-nup and the relationship had developed into this... eh???

No, I want to play on Sarah's card. She's my real competition and considering we both beat you, a good opportunity for you to learn something.

Second, I was up 5 and figured you had caved as usual so I let off the gas and ended up with a 6 on hole 11.

I wouldn't say you let off the gas. It was more like the air bag blew up in your face. You're supposed to throw around the woods not through them.

From that point on you looked like Climo. I swear you could have thrown through a picket fence. Hole after throw I saw you close your eyes, throw as hard as you can and end up in your putting range, which is about 2 feet. Talk about playing over your head, wow!!!

I was not playing over my head but rather keeping up with Sarah while dropping a nutsack on yours. You may be a good accountant but you didn't can't account for that can you.

You and I know I should have won by at least 10 strokes.

10 strokes won't help you to mate. Half way through the round you start checking the score card as the realization of pending doom and gloom start to set in.

Please continue to leave your shirt on as the horror of that gut, total lack of any muscle mass and that strange white glow that comes off your body is way too much for public consumption.

As long as Lil'Moose loves me I don't care about public consumption.

Just the weekend before you said, and I quote, " Yeah man you're all buff, you can take your shirt off, not me man." Honestly I was pretty uncomfortable with all the man love you were throwing my way. I assumed baby sitting pads had finally gotten to you, now I am not sure.

Actually what I think I said is how can you manage to do all the exercise you do and still smoke. Obviously those granola bars did not pay off this time.

So now that the record is straight, see you at Chandler big boy.

I don't know. Basketball playoffs start on Thursday. Can't we just settle this with a $5 CTP on hole # 1?

Oh yeah one more thing. I had nothing to do with the posting on the board. I was at work.

You told me, don't worry man I won't tell anybody, well I guess I know what your word is worth!!
That was before I knew that Lil'Treat was going to try and cover up the evidence. As the Riverside TD you should be glad I didn't slam dunk you in front of all those players and make you the 19th practice hole on Moose Run.

Your dimentia has hit a new high today.

I am not going to banter with you due to your mental handicap.

See you at hole 1 at Moose, man up and be there buddy..

This won't take long..

That is because I had to wait 25 of those 35 years for Lil'Moose to come along and we've been together ever since. We plan and do CS together, we play music and do drum class together, do grand openings together, we shop together and I'm actually a better Moose shopper than she is now.

We put up Xmas lights at Chandler together and all the park crew up there know and love her. We take trips together, attend funerals together, snore together and even do the little things like you and Julie and go out to eat together.

Is the fact the we choose to stay together less important than being bonded by a piece of paper and a line of greedy lawyers waiting on the sidelines to decide who gets what should you or your wife decide someday that you just don't want to be together anymore?

I've met a lot of DG'ers but only a few bring their wives or girlfriends out. I'm not saying that is a bad thing. I'm only saying that it's nice to be with someone that is open being actually involved in what you do.

Thank you Lil'Moose!!!!

Dave I realize that having to raise kids, care for a horse, and maintain a relationship at 50 is tough but you made that choice a long time ago and considering the legality should your rainbow disappear, don't crucify me because I'm in a position to make different choices. Considering the time you spend on the course, it doesn't look like those other things are putting you out too much.

More delusional thoughts...................Now he thinks h is a Disc golfer.

The ONLY reason she is still around you is that she can send you home 6 nights a week. Even I can deal with a pain in the arse for 1 day a week.
And all this BS you've been together 10 years.

Tell it straight, how many times have you been back together in 10 years?

Come talk to me after you have been in the same house with the same person for 19 years. He11, your mother couldn't even do that with you.

Sorry but I've set my goals a little higher than that. Obviously so has your son because I don't see him out there trying to earn a scholarship into hamburger college by playing DG. The fact that you work to promote "the sport" yet shield him from it says what???

The ONLY reason she is still around you is that she can send you home 6 nights a week. Even I can deal with a pain in the arse for 1 day a week.

Well then I guess Julie does have it harder than I thought having you around 7 days a week. No wonder she kicks you out of the house all the time. Tell her I said that if she wants, I've got room in my barn for you to move in should she desire the same absence of you as Lil'Moose enjoys on me from time to time.

Come talk to me after you have been in the same house with the same person for 19 years. He11, your mother couldn't even do that with you.
Wow!!! Here it comes. Does that last statement remind anyone of one of their parents complaining on how they had to walk ten miles a day in the snow to school and back? What a marriage veteran you are!!! You sound like someone who been at war for 19 years though you would make a lousey marriage counselor with that attitude. I can't imagine you "getting" anything in the kitchen with that remark coming out of your mouth at dinner time.

You sound like a dis-gruntled boy scout that is PO'd because he got passed over when they were awarding the "time served" merit badges.

But you're right Dave. Lil'Moose and I are living in sin!!!

I wasn't knocking my time with the wife. I was commenting to you that if you ever find a way to put in that much time or should I say commitment to one person, then you can talk to me about relationships. Until then you're rating in relationships is about as high as your golf rating.

The last 19 years for me have been the best I could hope for. Have a wife that is way out of my league. I'm sure you'll agree with that. As I'll agree that marie is WAY too good for you.

I'm sure the single life for you has been great but you're 50 now buddy.
Time to fish or cut bait and if you're not going to fish, then just be satisfied with being a Master Baiter.

As for my son, his love is drumline, soccer and skating, in that order. Disc golf never really tripped his trigger. Which is fine with me. He can get a great band scholarship or soccer but I haven't seen them offering a disc scholarship yet.

Uh-oh!!! Sounds like you're backtracking now. That might be what you think but that is not what you pervay to others sometimes. I listen to you all the time tell these young guys that are kicking your butt on the course to wait until they are married with kids. What I percieve you to be saying is that marriage (at least in your experience) is the death of all personal ambition or personal individuality.

To me that doesn't inspire anyone. Congrats on 19 years but don't try and cram your "people must be married" morallity. If God wants to say something to me there are better people than you he can use to voice his wisdom to me.

Lil'Moose is a great woman and yes like you I have had to say "I'm sorry" many times in our relationship but probably not as many times (19 years) as you have had to.

Perhaps I'm just depressed because Lil'Moose and I used to see you and Julie out together. Now we just see you.

Don't worry Furrdog I will be starting the mini right at 6:15 and it's the short course so it won't take long.

Come out for some disc golf and be home in time to see Tony Allen and the Celtics defeat the Lakers in game 1 of the finals.

No that is not what I said. I like how you take everything out of context, just like your President. I tell them that because now they have all the time in the world to play. But when they get married, have a full time job and have children, their time commitment to the family severly limits their golf game. If this is untrue, then tell me where has Ben Powell, Cory Briley, Slim Moyers, amd many other of the newly married guys gone to? I also tell them, we'll see them again in the masters division. This is the time their children are older and their wife is ready for them to be gone a few hours.

To me that doesn't inspire anyone. Congrats on 19 years but don't try and cram your "people must be married" morallity. If God wants to say something to me there are better people than you he can use to voice his wisdom to me. When did I ever use the word marriage? I said relationships and commitment. You were the one to use the term marriage. Do I sense some guilt or shame in your accusations at me?

Lil'Moose is a great woman and yes like you I have had to say "I'm sorry" many times in our relationship but probably not as many times (19 years) as you have had to. agreed.

Wrong again. You don't see me out, you see me on the course from time to time, depending on when you feel like watching people play.
When I go out, its with my wife. We are at a point in life, we like it with just each other. Thats why our vacation is just for the two of us.
