Well well, what do you know, it's time to kick off the weekly mini's!!

As a matter of fact, tomorrow night, Riverside tee at 6:00....

Wednesday, practice up for this weekends Spring Fling at Hunter..

It is going to be a great year so come and help us kick it all off....

I will be willing to allow a few flex cards out.. Parking may be a hassle, if it doesn't rain..

Either way I will be there, see you tomorrow at Riverside...

Ace pot is $122.00....

4$ Burgers @ Crow Creek. Now that i have your attention, Don't forget to stop in and see Woody Tomorrow or any Tuesday this summer. Cold beer always available !!! Stop in before or after the round. Car pooling from here isn't the worst idea either.

Well, Hinds advertisement for $4.00 burgers must have worked, we only had 9 players..

The 9 we had were some hearty souls that faced the wind like true warriors.

This was the first time I have seen what looked like a sand storm blowing off the dunes in the river.

Results were as follows:

Pro-

CODA HATFIELD 47
GARY HARRISON 52
CHRIS HATTON 54
MATT COOPER 54
DAVE WISE 54
TOM TOWNSEND 61
JOHNNY THOMPSON 63

Advanced-
JOSH CATHEY 56
JESSE CREW 62

Speaking of Mr. Crew, he won the CTP, hole #9 with a nice curling around the pole kind of shot with a vicious river cross wind.

Ace pot is up to $126. Go support the TDSA tomorrow night at Hunter, tee at 6:00..

Thanks....

wow, thats crazy, I would have been there but I had to coach my basketball team on tuesdays for a while. I really thought the beer and burgers would be more of an after the round thing, lol. Pretty sure it was the 40 mph gusts that scared em' off treat !

Atta boy Gary. Looks like we have a new pro on the mini tour in 2010. I'm sure he likes the $$$ over plastic anyways.

just maybe the word wasnt out that the two broken baskets had been repaired.
nobody likes to play on less than the best equipment.
congrats to those that played in the wind.
when my welding helmet blew off my head that made my decision.

Brad did step up big time to weld two baskets for us. He fought through starter and batter problems on his welder and came through like a shining star..

Thanks Brad, really appreciated..

Hey mr. treat, since riverside is back up full time now, will the Glide always be at the regular course? Is there ever a chance that temp course on the west side will be played again? I thought that was pretty fun, and was just wondering if it will ever happen again?

The Riverside Glide is going back to a two day B tier this year. I caught a lot of heat last year for making it a single day and backing down to a C tier.

But, the reason I did that was to see how things went, and I think they went great.

I would definately consider the west side. I actually think we could put a really nice nine hole course in. Yes we can do 18 but 9 holes would fit great and not have to go all the way south, turn around and play back again.

Lets see how things progress, but definately possible..

Ok, let the traditionalist start their tirades!!!!

Just be sure to bring your money like last time. No post dated checks, cash only.

Tell you what, instead of just trying to get your $50 back, why don't you go for broke and make a profit? Lets play for $100.
