Sounds like the cries of a jealous man who is worried about the government shutting him down.
I thank God everyday that I have the job I do. Probably will keep it for a long time as long as the pay stays good. |

I can sell other types of insurance. You on the other hand should be more worried than myself. Once your employer starts getting hit with the taxes associated with it, do you really think he will just eat it? Sorry but I deal with several employers, as it is my job and their response is we will cut employees to off set the costs of the increases. If they don't do that they will adjust employee pay. Its just simple accounting. If they have a certain amount coming in and now the government wants a bigger piece of the pie, what the hell do you think they will do? Your employer got in his line of work to make money and when it comes down to it, his family is WAY more important than your job.

You are correct sir, Governments consume not produce. even ones that print their own money do not produce anything except debt and obligations. Kings are cheaper than governments and we rebelled against taxes that were far cheaper than the ones we pay today that they are going to increase to pay for this grand new give away. some day they will run out of idiots like me that are willing to work two jobs just to have food and shelter.

Dave Wise (aka: Mr Doom & Gloom)
I'm surprised you're willing to take the time away from throwing bricks through windows to come here and post. Not all employers are as much of a dkhd as you are but some very well may be and you may be right in some cases. IMO why should I have to support you and your horse just to purchase insurance? You don't even put in a full 40 hour week. What other jobs have you had before you married into this one? You want to blame somebody then blame the right for offering up this.... ![]() Don't worry Jenny. You and little Forest can always move back to Greenbo Alabama with me. If you're sick I'll take care of you. The question is, if I'm sick and out of a job would you take me in????

Hey FurDog, did they forget to tell you that the portion of health benefits that you don't contribute towards that you now receive from your employer are going to become taxable to you on your W-2?
![]() Example: your costs that your company pays for yoy in health benefits is probably around $300 to $400, this is just for a single employee. Isn't that great, you just got a $3,600 to $4,800 raise, at least you'll be taxed like you got the raise. Take a shot of that medicine buddy. ![]() Even at a 15% tax bracket that just cost you $540 in taxes if your benefits are valued at $400 per month then you get to pay $720. This is what change looks like. ![]() As for the right offering up their last choices, I am in FULL agreement. |

Well Dave my part of the premuim is only about $45 a week so this is how I plan on countering that. First of all I'm going to buy a horse like you and get it a social security card so I can claim it as a tax deduction. I'll name it Mr Ed to throw off the IRS. Then I'll quit smoking which will save about $300 a month. Then I'll quit drinking which will save about $150-$200 a month. (Maybe start up a moonshine op somewhere) Disc Golf?....No problem. As TD I'll play for free at all my mini's. Food?.....No problem. Taco Bell is cheap and covers all the important major food groups. Shelter?.....If the Coberly's and the Hindshaw's can live in the woods at Chandler then so can I. All this great personal sacrifice on my part really adds up to a net profit for me while still being able to claim..."You ain't heavy, you're my brother.". If I were you I would at least learn to fake that I have compassion for others or otherwise you might find yourself frying like bacon in hell.
