Has anyone been to knob lately? What's the course like? I was up at Schenley last night and there were many large trees limbs down from all of the heavy snow.

When we had a brief thaw back in January I moved a bunch of pins to A position. Things have been starting to thaw and Saturday is supposed to be decent. You should come out, Knob hill is always a good time.
1A, 2A, 3A, 4A, 5A, 6B, 7A, 8A, 9C, 10A, 11C, 12? I must confess, I forget the rest.

Anybody want to go to Columbus on Saturday for March Madness? I have room for 1, maybe 2 more. FYI it is capped at 108 and 77 are already signed up. For more info check the PDGA schedule.

Default Conditions at Moraine ......

Folks, the Lakeview course at Moraine is absolutely saturated....like everything else in PA! And Saturday's rain isn't going to help. Expect sloppy conditions on Sunday! This week Gibby moved a few baskets to less-soggy pin placements and one hole has been moved to c-position where its never been before.....Hole 15! The good news is the Fly 18 pads will ensure every person has sure-footing on their drive. The bad news is the course is so saturated it will be a while before we're able to get the heavy machinery on site to finish back-filling the tees.

Remember the West Park road detour is now in effect so the drive home is 30 minutes longer (for those who live south of the park).
And remember to set your clocks forward one hour on Saturday night!

Lori and I are coming back. If nothing official is going on, I'd like to get some people together for a round for sure.

We could play the new 9-hole course in Brighton or we could play Moraine or Deer Lakes. Whichever is less muddy.

I would be up for Moraine or Deer Lakes. I was at Moraine yesterday and it wasn't super bad. 2 mile ext. is a bit far for me to travel for a 9 hole course. It is fun, but definately needs more grooming.

I'd put in a vote for Deer Lakes. I haven't been there yet this year, and the Moraine detour seems like its a real pain. However, the Ironwood is coming up so...

You couldn't pay me to play Deer Lakes or Slop Hill right now.

(Okay....I could be bribed, but it would take a significant amount of dough for me to play either of those muddy messes)

Scott and I played Moraine last night and we were both amazed at how much that course has dried up in the past couple of days. Lakeview rocks!

OK. Saturday at Moraine. 11AM.

$2 front 9
$2 back 9
$1 overall

Each player will play the tees that they will play for the Ironwood. Hopefully this will make it fair for everyone.

I would like to maybe cook out and make lunch, but I know that the entrance is still closed, so we will see.

Anyone interested.

not up to me on the time...but...does anyone have a new drone or zone that they are willing to trade for. I have a bunch of star destroyers and other unthrown stuff (no roadrunners - i looked through my stuff again). I need a mid that is more stable than a wasp.

I am excited about playing Deer Lakes tomorrow. Alanna, Kurt, Scott Hartle and myself were the only ones to show up for the February monthly when there was still a foot or more of snow on the ground. We opted to play the red tees and I quit after only 7 holes! (they quit after 9)

The last round of 18 I played at Deer Lakes was during The Hunt last September.

KB, Jen and I did some major drainage work at Knob today on holes 13 and 14. With a few more days of work, holes 13 and 14 will hopefully be draining properly and the holes should dry up nicely.
