I'll grab some torts, corn and flour and something to throw on the grill. I'll let the rest of you duck on Russell's sausage

Default $250 Ace Pot 3:50 start Winter Course Random Draw Alternate

OK - a little mix on alternate this week. Because we have an Ace Pot, we can't play true alternate. You'll draw cards @ 3:45 for partners & start hole & we'll play alternate with a twist. Both partners will drive every tee box & you'll choose the better of the 2 lies to play alternate out from there. IE: If Cdub & Rusty are partners, both drive off the box & Cdub parks the hole, Rusty will throw the next shot - they'll alternate out from there until someone makes the putt.

Well then I guess its get out your money time.................here we go, score & highlights (some low lights) from last nite...........great time as allways last nite......good friends, good golf and good eats and some powling..........first scores

Eric & LT 47 split 26.00 (LT should have given his winnings to Eric)
Parker & Perez 49 split 18.00
Paul W & Rusty 50 split 13.00
Justin/Jason & JD/Mike b 53 all split 15.00 (had to be there to get paid and some left)

24-total players last nite, nice turn out again,I wonder what 666 will pull in next week!!

Highlights...............Getting to watch a top 25 club member (Eric M) put on a show while dragging LT around the course....I should note here that LT was holding his own till Bryan slammed him with an errant tee shot on #8.....after that, it was all Eric, thus his rise to top 25 in the club status..........Rusty & Paul cashing, enough said on that one.

Low lights..................Joe & Ware 2 coming in DFL.......Question is now, Is John EEEE looking for a new partner for world doubles?? We will see in the coming weeks...

Powling............This is were things get a little fuzzy (Knob Creek fuzzy)......from what I remember, and for most of powling thats not much as everyone had to tell me when it was my turn and what lane is was in.......Rusty comes out on top for the second week in a row and yours truely and Ware 2 (dfl man) came in second.............in game #2, knob creek took over and I have no clue, but i think Zac won it or was it JD, who knows, but whom ever it was shot over 200............game #3.........sorry but no help here, as Knob was doing its job...............but all in all, another great time with the Double R gang........looking forward to another great time next week....until then, stay in the fairway and hammer chains..................or Knob Creek, your choice!!

Not sure what the others are thinking, but I think with the format we have next week 666, that we sign up by 3:50 and tee by 4pm......???.......and with the weather predicted to be in the low 70 with a 30% chance of rain.......tee @ 4pm just might work........thoughts????? Speaking of 666, anyone have score cards made up for this format???

So if you something special (good or bad) your name might appear on this page..........see ya!!

Well, if push comes to shove......then its going to be a CFO dinner, and I have no problem with that one ever!!! But as seen in the past......people show up with grub and baskets, so when the round is over and I see no fire or baskets, then I'll know its CFO time....that will be a sad thing, but we can handle it......

Another outstanding night at the Rock.............scores and highlights

Eric M & Bryan 46 split 28.00

CWare/Keith Zac/Bull ET/PaulW 47 split 44.00

Vinnie/Matty LT (solo mission) 48 split 15.00

Nice scores from everyone last nite.....666 (when played right) seems to have been a hit with the club. Played on a 6-man card last nite and finished with daylight to spare...
Highlights
Vinnie hits an ace on #10, nice shot...................so the ace pot runs a little less today and maybe the lowest it has been in many many years...........and thats a good thing....
lowlights
Rusty & Patti brought up the rear with a smoking 59........but they had fun, thats for sure....
Powling
Even though there was no food to cook, we still had a nice turn out for powling......Ed-Man takes game #1 And I believe Zac took game #2........and for the first time since I can remember, I did not bring enough beer with me.....had to drink water on the way home..........but that might have been a good thing..........

29 total players last nite............I guess no-one has a job right now.............

Oh well, see you guys on a course somewhere this weekend, or next wednesday, which ever comes first................Later.....

Default Winter Course 4:00 Start $112 Ace Pot

Days are getting longer so we'll start to push the start time back a little - this week 4:00, maybe 4:20 next .

Vinnie aces hole 10 last week bringing the ace pot down to $112+ next week.

Either 3 man scramble or singles depending on the turn out.

Got some sausage and burgers coming tomorrow night. I'll see you guys after the round. Bring a fistful of dollars for powling, 2 for the turkey and 4 for the 4. We need to ctp a bag of charcoal one of these Wednesdays.
