I won't be staying for food(Nebraska game) but I'll donate sausage. Got 15+ links of Southside Market sausage just sitting in the freezer.

Not 3 weeks in a row LT - there was no ace the week after mine. Nice shot Eric - too bad it missed the mando
![]() WOW - great shot Eric, Rodney & well me - NEVER THOUGHT we'd give out 3G on Wednesdays. I always say I'm looking to unload some of the Dbl R big ace money, I didn't think it'd all go down in one month however. $3825 pd to members on aces in 9 minis -what could be in store for 2010?There's still money left in Wednesday's pot & Sunday is building quickly. We'll have our 1st 2010 cabinet meeting on Monday & will let you know what Wednesday will cap at next - if it's not taken out again next week.

Random Draw, Random Format. May & I will take sign up - 3:45 start. We will start to push back time a little each week as the days get longer & the cards play faster.
If you need to renew w/the club or the PDGA please bring a completed form with you - you should have gotten both from me via e mail. Checks should be payable to the Double R Disc Golf Club. Remember to take $5 off your PDGA total for the club affiliate program. Club renewals are due by the end of January. Shirts should be here with in a week.

quick question for the cabinet. is the rule still in place that if you dont stay for payout it goes to the club? if so would a player be able to only pay the $1 ace pot and $1 club due if they know they will not be able to stick around after the mini?? just curious. thanks

20 players no aces - great turn out for 1st week in Jan, bad weather, & low ace pot - thanx for the ace beer Eric. The ace pot wil stay @ $250 - which is what it used to be in the way back machine - and continue to build back up. Looks like we can push the start time back as I heard even Metal Mike's card finished with daylight to spare.
12 people at powling w/one basket & I heard there was tons of great food - as always. Edman is having a hard time making it to golf & I can't get from work to the house to pick up a basket in time, so someone else needs to pack up their portable & bring it for the second lane.

Scores.............as you know, 20-players no ace's last nite
JD & Eric 44 split 28.00 Martin & Steve O 46 split 18.00 Bryan,LT,Justin, Anthony 47 split 14.00 4-teams at 50 1-team at 52 and 1-team at 56........ Got to watch Eric & JD go on a long birdie run.......they were on last nite except for #13 (real #9) otherwise they were looking at course record 13-down...... Powling was great as allways with Zac (my carroll) showing us how to dink & dunk our way to money with only 1-stike(laying up).....Then in the second game Rusty came out on fire with 4-stikes to start the game, then went as cold as an iceberg but hung onto win by 5-points I think............food was great, thanks to all that brought food and to Eric who brought beer from his ace win last week............... Next week we will tee by 3:50 or so and will move it back to 4pm on the 20th of this month............. format for this wednesday 1/13 will be alternate (2-man draw)........but don't worry, everyone will still get their run at ace's...........you can both tee, but whom ever was in line to shoot next, thats the disc you play no matter what the other guy/gal does on their throw......say its your turn to throw on b-hole, you throw, then your partner throws and hits an ace, nice for him/her and he/her gets the ace money, but you still have to finish the hole using your tee shot cause it was your turn...........simple right?? If you have any questions in regards to this format, save them for wednesday and I will answer all your questions.............have a great weekend, don't get caught outside for to long and most of all HOOK-EM HORNS tonight..........see yall next week...... |
