The 2500 is definitely something like that. It was something like a 2nd generation Hammer/Stingray or 3rd generation Hammer/Viper.

Not for awhile. Quite awhile. You can still find them at most Play It Again Sports...used.

As Chase said, the mold is not in current production. The mold still exists
and could be run in the future. It is a 187gm max disc.

Dave,
I'm noticing that the newest Destroyers are marked S-DS, rather than *DS, and the older S/DS. What is the difference? It seems to me that these newer ones are more stable and have a slightly bigger dome. |

Please, big disc man in the sky, let the answer to this question be that they are stabilized like the star nightshift so I can stop trying to collect all 122 of them.

The echo destroyers are the most amazing destroyers ever made. Not quite as stable as the nightshift but pretty close with much more glide. Mine go further and are much easier to throw than my bosses.

hey Dave -- there was no such thing as champion plastic in 1984 so it was an Innova DX Aero that Frank Aquilera threw 167.88 meters (550 ft) -- yes? ...how far would you guess your out-of-bounds throw went that year? Also, it has been 8 years since Sandstrom set the present record. What disc(s) do you think have the best potential to break it? |

In 1984, I think DX was the only kind of plastic. So, "Innova-Champion" was the term used for the brand. I think this is correct. Dave?

The Leopard is a candidate for Echo. We changed the name from Eco to Echo because we didn't want to confuse anyone as to the origin. Echo is post production and mostly pre-consumer recycled plastic. The Eco was associate with post consumer recycling.

The *and S markings are both used and mean the same thing. The differences in the discs can be attributed to variations from run to run.
