I just want to give a big THANKS to my DoubleR friends. I remember getting to town in '94 and having a Shark in my moving boxes that I'd gotten when I played a few rounds at Burke Lake Park in Virginia, back in '92 or so. I'd heard somewhere about a course at OSP and wound up playing occasional pure casual rounds there (and only there), like once every couple of months, during the 90's. I specifically remember seeing what turned out to be the DoubleR club, playing there, in the late 90's and early 2000's. But, I never approached the groups I saw playing. I was one of those casual guys we now see that play around us and we never speak. It wasn't until another solo casual round there in 03, i was throwing my 2nd shot on hole #13 from the first set of trees

and the doubleR was hanging in the lot there before a mini started......Vinnie walks up to me and says I should come out and play a mini. I decided to give it a try, showed up the following Wednesday, and haven't stopped since.

Thanks DoubleR I've had a BLAST the past 6 years and am looking forward to many more rounds with my GOOD FRIENDS

Did anyone play Wilco today? We had that half inch of rain 2 days ago and it might be closed. I'll try to get there early(for once) and if it is closed I'll call V and post on the disc golf sign where he says to move it to. Brushy? I'll give you a call V if it is closed.
