It was funny the other way Scotty...

I'm assuming all or any people interested can submit a letter explain why they feel they can fill this position. If there is more than one person interested the club will then have a vote.

I thought so too, but thought I could have been taken for a jerk. Not that I'm not a jerk, I just wasn't trying to be at that time.

I'll step up and take the position if no one wants it.

Old Economy Park. NICE!!!! lol.

I did play there the other day, and I sure wish that we could get the park to allow us to turn the course into 18 holes. It would become a great course if we could do so.

Nice..... yo Sid, your logo for your avatar looks a lot like the Japan Open 08 logo.

Exclamation Rule Change!

HOLING OUT: 803.13 B
Disc Entrapment Devices: In order to hole out, the thrower must release the disc
and it must come to rest supported by the chains and/or the inner cylinder (bottom and
inside wall) of the tray. It may be additionally supported by the pole. A disc observed by two or more players of the group or an official to have entered the target below the top of the tray or above the bottom of the chain support is not holed out.

What does it mean? Wedges don't count and the ones that slide through the tray won't count either.

See the rules changes on the home page of pdga.com as they do a good job of explaining all the rule changes for 2011. There is also a thread on this discussion board under rules & standards.

It means those floppy putters that Jerry uses will no longer save his butt.

Lol true but he got the rule change that he wanted. The one about being able to move a stick if it is both behind and in front of your lie. Now you can move it.

I don't like the rule change about moving obstacles that extend past your lie. This is going to be abused. People are going to try and move whole trees out of the way. Then that tree will be moved somewhere that my disc is going to land and hit the tree and roll back to the teepad. Even though that tree wasn't in that place when the round started. I think this was a big mistake. I don't like it 1 bit. The old rule was fine.
