Fall 2K9 Morning Leagues

The 2009 Fall Edition of the Morning Leagues will begin September 8th at Dretzka Park. All are welcome. We meet at a diffierent course each week at 8:30AM and tee off shortly after that. This is a handicapped league with an Ace Pool, CTP's and an Overall Champion.

The web site will be updated shortly with the complete Fall schedule. Please forward any suggestions to me if you have ways to improve the league experience.

I will hold a Fall League warmup round at Sussex Village Park on September 1st at 8:30AM. No cash will be req'd for the warmup. Prizes will be distributed for CTP and best score. The results will not be counted toward the league overall scoring - it's just for fun! See you there.

Thanks to everyone for showing up for the Morning League Warm-up today at Sussex. The course was in great shape, the weather was beautiful and the company was fantastic!

Expect more great golfing days to come w/ the GLDGC Morning League. Coming to a course near you!

The week 7 scores have been posted.

Congratulations to Disc Dog for hitting the first Morning League Ace (Dretzka Hole 7A) !

I made a mistake recording one player's Handicap on their week 7's scorecard. The posted scores reflect the actual, corrected data. Payouts for another player have changed and will be corrected at next week's league.

In addition, the Ace pool was equal to $51.

Next week we play Brown Deer Park. See you 8:30AM on Tuesday (11/27).

Unfortunately, I will have to miss tomorrow's leagues @ Brown Deer(businees trip to NYC). I'll return for the final week of Morning League at Dretzka on Nov. 3rd. I've asked Gene and/or Henry to run leagues tomorrow. I hope all goes well...just keep the scores & I'll update the results when I return on Friday.

The Week 9 scores have been posted.

Congrats to Henry & Ross for leading the overall total scores. Thanks to everyone who joined us this year at the GLDGC Morning League! Together we raised funds that bought the Trophies and supplied the AM Payout for the GLDGC 20th Anniversary Tourney.

Some players have mentioned about continuing to meet on Tuesday mornings throughout the Winter. Please post the location and time here so we can all join in!

Stayed tuned to gldgc.com for the next edition of the Morning League. Coming to a course near you sometime in the Spring of 2010!
