The blue ones I got were some of the best Z I've felt in a long time.

agreed. 175 and 176g pearly blue z stalker seems a similar plastic mix to the first run buzzz and they fade slowly but just don't like holding an anny. mine are still new but they don't dig going right. straight or slightly left is where they live. fun.

I threw a 173g orange stalker yesterday 3 times. I threw an older tracker also. They held the same line and the tracker was always a few feet ahead. I'm not sure if I see a use for another similar disc. Am I missing something?

What's happened to My Hero? His last post is almost three weeks old.

I banned him.
Actually he might be travelling. A secret mission?

I recently got 2 in the mail one yellow, one blue both 176g. I was able to get them out just a little past the 360 mark without really having to get on them (virtually no left to right movement). When i did start to really throw them they turned a little but always broke back near the end of the flight. I let a friend try them (he throws almost nothing but squalls and buzzz's for mid shots) and he said they were very close to the squall but the stalker was a little longer and has a little more fade at the end. He purchased them off of me and i really think its going to be his go to control disc. Should be a great disc for finess oriented players and maybe a good turn over disc for guys with cannons.

What are the Z Stalkers like compared to a 12x Champion TeeBird?? I'm intrigued by the disc but dont want to add it to the bag if it's basically an overlap with Innova's disc.

the difference, for me, between the tracker and stalker is that i have to shape the tracker while the stalker just holds a line. the stalker can be turned over but it doesn't like it--it rolls back predictably without getting too overstable @ slow speeds. in other words, it makes a narrower "s" than a tracker and won't fall off to the right when thrown with some snap. plus you can throw it slower and it still holds a smooth line. i'm a buzzz lover but i keep forgetting to throw my buzzz during rounds. get two, brandon |

I throw one of the early red Z Trackers. I'm a surge thrower mainly but I often add an XS or tracker to the bag.

The two discs do not overlap that much. The Stalker would sort of compare to a beat in Teebird, but it is a little more workable. The Teebird's fade characteristic is definetely stronger and earlier than the Stalker's. Also, if you put much hyzer on a Teebird throw it is going to dig left hard. The Stalker stays straighter and won't turn as hard. Right now I'm liking the Stalker, but I'm not done testing it yet. It is currently taking the place of my light/straight Teebird and I'm still carrying my overstable Teebird because the Stalker tends to straighten out a little too much to hold a hyzer into the wind. |

I have 2 Stalkers. One is blue and weighs 177g, and the other is orange and weighs 176g. The plastic is incredibly nice and is exactly like the newer Z Buzzzes.
I am a Buzzz thrower. In the past I've often yearned for a driver that flew anything like the Buzzz. The characteristic of the Buzzz I most appreciate is its ability to resist turning over while still fading very late into the flight. This characteristic is certainly mimicked by the Stalker. The disc flies straight really well, and although it is a little more nose angle sensitive than a BUzzz, it is less so than any other driver I've thrown. This is a great control disc and I'm looking forward to throwing it more. |

A lot of good things are being written about the Stalker. I may give it another chance this weekend.

(lurk off)
It's probably the most appropriate forum for the question. While the Tracker is a great mold, i don't have much experience with it and do not qualify to answer the question at hand. Maybe Smitty or Miles will answer this since i know they both throw the Tracker. (lurk on)

Smitty should know but Miles probably won't since he likes the nice stable ones like I do. Now the Old man Smitty likes the straight ones and said there were some from a recent run of Z but I have no idea which color. The Stalker is what I would think a straight Tracker would be with just a little less D.

thanks, guys. smitty's acting like he's busy running tournaments 4 hours from his home. i'll titty twister him until he tells me this weekend in beloit. kid, you are right, the stalker is filling a hole in my bag but i think there's still room for a straight tracker.

I carried a Tracker all the way across the state of Kansas and back, just to give to you at the tourney.
Looks like this weekend, I will be taking it across the state the opp. direction. This thing is getting some miles under its belt. I think that you will have a spot for this one. A touch longer and maybe a wee bit more stable. If not, you can give it back to me and I will carry it around a little longer. |

Hello !
Anyone any idea if theres any way to find out which discs are more overstable than others ? Messy, I know :-) I mean if I have 3 BUZZ in my hand do I have any way to find out which one is most overstable without any throw ? Why I wanna know ? Just because I lost my best FLX BUZZ and after that I was buying atleast 5 BUZZ, but everyone is soooo understable ? |

i think domier z buzzzs are more overstable than flatter ones but i couldn't tell you about FLX. i think the esp's are different mold cuz they have larger diameter.
