Greenwood Minis - Page 2

Until last Thursday I've been wondering how many Minis is to many !!!!

But with the Greenwood Mini showing signs of building interest in the sport gives me hope that the future of disc golf in the area depends upon the organized Mini !!!!

It's awesome to go out and see guys from Russellville that come over to play our Minis !! Matt and John (Turk)

Also it's Cool to see Greenwood residents coming out and participating in the Minis and learning about the game of disc golf !! Kevin Jones (13yrs. old)

So the number of Minis isn't important but having Minis to go to is very important to the growth of disc golf in the future !!

Thanks to WAFDA for making it happen !!!!

7-9 13 players

and then a few others in the low under pars

Glad to see the numbers starting to pick up. Hopefully it will continue through the summer.

Awesome job Chris !!!!!

We need to thank Matt and John from Russellville for making the mini 3 times in the last 4 weeks !!!!

Also wanted to say that Greenwood seems to be catching Disc Golf fever from the looks of 2 local thirteen yr olds Kevin and Jordan !!!!

Overall great times on the newest disc golf course in the state and looking forward to seeing everybody next Thursday !!

Wow !!!! this mini is showing signs of growing #'s

17 disc golfers
equals great competition for all cashers and am's that attended !!!!!

Tony squeaked out the victory with a 48 (-6) $19
Chris and I took second with a distant 49 (-5) $5 throw off for Chris

Joseph took the am division with a 53 (-1) $25 merchandise
Gregg and John took second with a 56 (+2) $15 merchandise throw off for Gregg

Overall great times on the course and looking forward to seeing everybody next week !!!!!

Hey Roger, make sure to take notes of who scored what since that one guy is too lazy to post em'

any of ya'll who are not playing in the SNPC this weekend at Burns Park in N. Little Rock should come down Sunday to watch and hang out, there's usually a large gallery and plenty of fun to be had

on a side note, new club plastic has not made it in but should be here early next week

hoping you could gimme a call to arrange a time to pick it up from my house sometime tomorrow evening so it can be available at BG on Saturday if possible

I can't make it out tonight, I've been stuck on this working till 6:30 thing

I'm going to Owasso on Sunday, it'd be awesome if we could arrange a car pool in your or someone elses car, check it out if you can at the mini tonight and let me know please

Someone please tell me that this rumor of aces hit while not in the $120 ace pot is not true!
I just saw a post on Facebook that said two aces were hit tonight at Greenwood, but the player was not in the pot b/c he hadn't thrown in such a long time! Anyone back this up?

Willie, the rumors are correct and I probable don't have to tell you the golfer that hit the two aces !!!!!

It was pretty cool to see this player run two out of three holes #10 and #12 !!

That little rascal has a knack for hitting Aces without a doubt. I think he has just the right amount of aggressiveness, and confidence in his comeback putting, to go for the basket alot off of the tee.

Great job Little Chris! Hopefully this will entice him more into getting back into playing! I know he was excited enough about it to call me and brag .... I mean inform me, about it.

I just saw a post on Facebook that said two aces were hit tonight at Greenwood, but the player was not in the pot b/c he hadn't thrown in such a long time! Anyone back this up?

I think he has just the right amount of aggressiveness, and confidence in his comeback putting, to go for the basket alot off of the tee. Great job Little Chris! Hopefully this will entice him more into getting back into playing! I know he was excited enough about it to call me and brag .... I mean inform me, about it.
