I played this (Monday) morning with Matt. We finished 18 holes, 10 minutes before the rain started.

The creek is FLOWING, really nice course, I can see what all the talk has been about. It's new and only nine holes, so I only had to pick up 6 beer cans.

The only problem we had was with Hole 4's tee box. Really liked the design.

what you dont like the down hill run -up in #4? the only problem I see is the tee boxes just falt out sux and the casuals keep moving the flags around if there are any flags.

hey chris
almost put my foot down on a rattlesnake yesterday at benbrook. it was small, 16 or 18 inches and only 2 rattles but it gave me the willies bigtime. a grasshopper landed on my arm and made the beer fly out of my hand. the snake didn't make it.

wow that is not good but I figured it would not be long before we started seeing snakes out there with that creek running right through the middle of the course. yea after you see a snake butterflies will scare you...

Wish i could play in the Solo tomorrow but i can't.....among the reasons, i actually have to work a couple of hours tomorrow morning (big software release).

Having said that....and having heard that the Coffey's won't be at Friday Skins at the rock..........

anyone wanna play Wilco today 4:45. We could call it "Wilco Skins". I even have some Whiskey i could bring. :-)

was thinking more on the lines of brushy creek, but it really does not matter to me...just wanting to play a relaxing round and tune up for tomorrow's tourney...........I have your number and will call you later and find out who else is wanting to play......in case I don't get back to the office after my Westlake run this afternoon.......

if yall go to Brushy Creek, keep an eye out for a large Cat....he is really tough, might want to take body armour with you, or just stay in the fairway, the cat seems to only be in the smudge down each fairway, and he does follow you from hole to hole, just ask C Ware....he had a run in with that cat as did I yesterday, and lets just say, the cat won.....ouch!! Still bleeding today..........
