Official statement from the PDGA regarding Flying Disc Magazine:

The determination was made to separate the parties after the 5th issue of 2008. The separation was mutually agreeable and FDM delivered all issues for which it was paid. DiscGolfer is the new in-house publication for the PDGA and will be received quarterly by all members in 2009. FDM continues as a national newsstand magazine, independent of the PDGA.
