Ok Guys this is your last chance to play the Bartlesville Course in 2008.

We will have our regular 18 in the morning
and the longer rarely seen Gold Temp Layout for the afternoon round.

We are in the process of raising money for our half of the back 9.
ALL PROCEEDS from this MINI will go toward that Fund.
We are looking at future event for a full fundraiser in the future.

So come one come all.

Dale, I'll make it upr for one or both but definately the gold lay out.

If any of you have never been to B-Ville, then you need to go, even if you have been and have never played the alternate layout, then you need to go. This course offers nice shots, with some elevation and a good variation of holes. For a 9 hole course it plays like it has 27.

January would be a perfect time. Just wondering who else in OK has Ice Bowls? Do you? I know T-town does. What about OKC? Anybody else? Just wondering. Nothing else to do after work but watch TV, play on the net, read, oh and the other, which is, anything you can do while sitting down.

OK,
I have discovered I now have internet access again.
At work and at Home,
Been a bummer to not have it either place.
Had lightning knock out some equipment.
I will have the results up tommorrow as I am at work right now.
Yes pines that were diseased and dying are in the process of being removed.
I have spoken with the parks director and we will have trees planted in the spring where the pines are being cut down.
Hopefully we will have 9 more holes ready by spring.

I had to look for this thread ... I'm sure Chris or Dale would be posting an updated pretty soon concerning Sooner park in B'ville... The course is now an 18 hole course, I also heard that it makes the course in owasso seem like a pitch n putt....and that after you play it you will wonder why they even mow chandler

We will be having minis every Thursday with Flex Starts starting at 530pm in August.
We had a first test of the new 18 with 17 players last night.
-6 was the best but double digits is definitely possible.

Sorry about overlapping the Chandler Day.
Besides the only other open day on the Tulsa Schedule is Monday
and Mondays are not good for me.
Thats why I haven't requested it be put on the Tulsa Schedule

you guys are going to like our new back nine we have some with a good deal of elevation more than you will find in t town. we also have some water holes. i miss my first run echo excal already. there is a good amount of shade also on the back nine good for you oldtimers. nothing is really long but still very technical. if you want to give it a round call me 918 766-2097 otherwise show up at a mini this year we have only had bville people show up which makes a big amateur field.

I showed up yesterday only to find out D.P. cancelled.... Its all good though, eight of us got a round of dubs going and Norm and myself shot -15!!! So I guess the drive up there was worth it in the end! I've always liked Sooner Park... Like it even better now with the back nine in place!

We WILL be having Thursday Mini's the rest of August.

It is getting dark earlier.
Ace pot is around 140+.
I hope to have alot of new plastic if I can get my order today.
Lots of good reviews on the back 9.
I think it turned out well with the restrictions we had.
Not super long, but harder than it looks.
