Is the PDGA course directory accurate? I printed off a map, but wasn't sure if you had a better one

What a fun time at the mini!

For those of you who haven't played it in awhile/never played it before Sooner Park is looking great right now!

It was a fun little round in a little played park, and fun was had by all.

I really enjoyed some of the holes. Dale has a fun yet challenging layout but a map, for the time being, will be necessary to locate all the different teeing areas.

A big thanks to Dale for running the mini!

I am sure to play that one again!

Sooner park is a great course. I know its only a 9 holer and the basic layout is okay but when the alternate pads are used it becomes a real golf course. Just look at the scores, only 3 players in the 40's. If you played the alternates for all 18 holes it makes for a real challenge.

For those of you that have not made the trip north, you NEED to. its only 45 minutes, easy to car pool and its worth the trip.

Go north boys and show the locals what Tulsa has.

As Dave said the front 9 is very straight forward.
The back nine is definitely harder.
With elevation change and wind it can be tricky
There is only one truely flat green.
Saw alot of makeable putts missed in our group (including me)

Look forward to see who makes the trip next

I hate to break it to you Chris. But I don't think that course/area would be considered TDSA unless you just consider it under the TDSA umbrella like Stillwater and places like that...

As for why you are off of the mini schedule I do not know but I am sure it was just a mistake by Wayne Forest, who kindly manages the schedule for Tulsa.

I think you guys should be on the schedule regardless of the presence of actual club sanctioning though.....

I appreciate the fact that last month the Bartlesville Minis were added to the Tulsa Schedule.
As much as Chris and I are there it seems like we live in Tulsa. (me not so much recently)

But... I am a lifetime member of the TDSA
and one of MANY people who helped install the new courses for the AM Worlds
And did take a week of vacation (as many others did)
to be Course TD @ Hunter for the week @ AM worlds
(Hey where's my Golden Shovel)

I say all of that just to make the point we do try
to support the TDSA and its events.
And consider ourselves friends of the TDSA
and appreciate help in return when possible

I appreciate Chris and his enthusiasm to have our events on the TDSA Schedule.
I know that the TDSA doesnt have to include us in their schedule,
BUT it is helpful and appreciated when it is.

... well , we hadn't actually had them on the TDSA mini-schedule before ... always featured the PDGA Turkey Shoots in the past ... and always had any other B-ville day 'o' golf that Dale wanted on the mini-sched. with info. ... but , we should get dis coerrect-tated , no prob ... (also the Bristow gigs) ... e-mail us - or post your next coupla months of Monday dates & start times ... and we'll have that printed onto the next mini-schedules ... (schedule for September sets-up next Monday , Aug11) ...
