I think you missed the underlying point Chris. The regulars don't like getting beat by the new guys.

As for the bringing their girlfriends comment, I apologize, I didn't know they were Heathers friends.

All I saw was a bunch of new guys showing up, all bringing their girlfriends/wives to a poker game.
The only time I take my wife to a poker game is when I get home.

Your house, your game, its all good. No one is forced to play. Its kind of like when we have one of our $10per man matches scheduled, then Justin, Devan and Coda shows up. Kind of decreases your odds at winning.
You still play but know right up front it ain't going to be as easy as usual.
