Everyone needs to play the DLDGC . the end. make a weekend out of it and play Moraine State Park and Knob Hill as well. You will then have played three of the best courses anywhere all within 25ish miles of eachother!

The DGC at Deer Lakes Park is the newest 18-hole course in the Pittsburgh area. The par-66 layout incorporates a wide variety of hole design with lots of elevation change that includes both open and wooded fairways. The layout consists of three par 5s, six par 4s and nine par 3s. All eighteen holes utilize the "green center" concept with three pin placements to provide a nice variety of shot difficulty and will help with erosion control. In addition, each hole has three sets of tees (red, white and blue) with signs for every tee. Eventually, 54 concrete tee pads will be installed to complete this world class course. Did I forget to mention the two Mach III putting greens?

Avery, Feldberg and myself played a casual round at Bear Creek during the week of the very first Big Show. Avery throws an 8x Roc in the pond behind hole #5. Here is a photo of him putting on some of my fishing/hunting waders later that night hoping to retrieve the disc.

Gil Garcia had a 5 dollar for 5 shot at 5 basket thing going on before payouts that day. I was the last guy to get to throw and when I came down to my last shot, I aced with an x2 to get the grab bag of discs. The only one I held on to for all these years was this Ontario Roc (it has the purple plastic that shows your hand print in the sun, is that called a "Photon Glow?") that has a St. Louis stamp. Ironic that I live here now!

No doubt... I am amazed at Jerry's collection of photos. I'm inspired to start taking more especially now a days with the digital carmera 'n all... You need to make a disc golf photo book Jerry! Like Kramer had a coffee book about coffee books on Sienfeld, you should make a coffee book with your pics! Instead of little legs on it like Kramers, you could have a "mini basket pop up!"

Great pictures Jerry! I need to find all of my Cabin Creek pictures that I took which include pictures of you and Marie. I also have some pictures of one of the Wolf Packs from some of the early wolf days at the Vet. Will look for them this weekend.
