There has been some hearsay about one. I just emailed the company and asked them directly.

janttila, you are mistaken, unless the dude you know is a super top secret discraft insider with more access to bees than the honeyman that lives two miles down the road from my house.....

btw, discraft, if you make it they will sell.

YOU are part of the reason the PDGA pushed the technical wing length standards to just 2.6cm. If you would have allowed 3cm the DevilHawk would have gone into production.

i'd call it right in between esp and flx, floppy-wise. not as floppy as real flx.

here is the buzzz ss

At this point I really love the disc and I don't really want to know if its not legal. Discraft should really produce this disc or at least rename it and let DGA have it. It is straigter than the Buzz, yet I would not call it understable. It has more glide and less fade and it may be a touch faster. Thanks to My Hero for trying to answer our questions. Its still too bad that the best rep we have here to answer our questions is someone who has to then email our questions to Discraft. I guess if they had better representation here they might notice our complaints about underrepresentation...

I'm working on that......

All i can do is answers the questions that i know the correct answer to. The others questions have all been emailed to the company and are currently in "Hero doesn't know the answer Purgatory"

First Purgatory answer from the office of Pad Timmons:

Pad here. The SS Buzzz is available and legal for play at this time.

Another Purgatory question answered:

Not going to directly quote the email due to some top secret info. However, if in fact you have seen the FLX/ESP mix Drone, consider yourself lucky as only 2 FLX/ESP mix Drones have left the company building. Sounds like it's a project that Discraft is working on so keep your fingers crossed.

Default 161 flx surge

I have a 161 gram flx surge. Yes it's marked that way and yes it actually weighs that. Have you seen any others that light?

I have a 160 that I have had for close to a year now. It kicks major arse. I have some newer ones in the 164 range but have not found any lighter since the initial batch of FLX stuff that came out last year.

Moolie's and yours is the lightest FLX's i've heard of. Don't forget to ask your local Discraft player or vendor to order you some of the new 150g Surges!

the 150 gram Surges are SWEEEEET! I got a 155 about a week or so back and its totally great.

If i could get a 160 to 163ish flx surge I think that my driver setup would be complete.

I have a 163g green flx surge and I know another player in our club that throws one at 160g. Although your chances of getting mine are zero and none! They are sweet though, I hope you find one of your own...

Hero... can you help the Zero with this one?... PM me if so. The 160ish FLX Surge is desperately needed in my bag.

I was afraid it was a unique disc -- seemed odd when I got it. It's about right for an older/slower arm. I could see the X-Surge 150 being similar although the esp-flx plastic is "slightly" superior for a driver.
