Hey San Diego Disc Golfers ,

I now have the Spring Fling Fundraiser Disc's available with me.

They are just like the Memorial Fundraiser Disc's sold by Discraft. Special Edition Buzzz's.

They are $ 20.00 each and your name is put on the Sponsor Shirts for the tournament as well !!!!!
Must be purchased by May 15 to get name and sponsorship on shirts !!!!!

$20.00 each or 3 for $ 55.00. Price I was asked to sell them for. I have a grand total of 18 left.

Since I'm a San Diego Ace's Club member , I did pick up a couple for myself to support the Spring Fling tournament and as a San Diego Ace Club Member/Sponsor.

Any help for this tournament is Greatly Appreciated !!!!!!!

Thanks in advance ,

Finally.

My first ace at Morley Field. Hole #16, B position (straight away, in plain view of the tee). FLX Buzz - threw it straight, it went straight. Almost nailed it the second time around too - just caught a piece of the little bush to the right of the basket.

I can now sleep soundly at night.

Hey Carl
Welcome to the message board.
Good luck Saturday, it's going to be great to see everyone come together and play the sport we all love. I'll be sporting the Aces shirt as well.

Don't you play WED roper? You should be playing ADV since INT players are not allowed to play on WED. BAGGER

Gomez
You should look at the Int list and compare it to the Wed night list. You would see quite a bit of overlap.
I've got one work for you... 956

Yeah, it doesn't really matter. There's tons of baggers from locals to out of towners in INT. I'd rather see one of us take it, bagger or not. If I don't win, i'd rather see someone I play with win then lose to someone else.

Ahhh, Yet another successful spring fling. This is the first one I've competed in, and I'd have to say it was very well organized. Thanks to Snapper and everyone who helped make this run so smooth.
Now if I could only learn to putt, I could be giving Willie a run for his money.
I hope everyone else had as much fun as I did.

His rating is only 947, just below the 955 mark. There were even a few DG'ers that had a rating over 955. I'm not sure the rules on that one.
There is a different set of rules for monthlies.

Default June Monthly?

What is the format for the June monthly this weekend? Open/Adv/Int or Int/Nov/Women?

Thanks, Dave, but you have prefaced your answer with "I think," and I'm hoping someone knows for sure.

Are you gonna play?

I checked today, it's Open/Adv/Int. I will be playing INT. Thanks for sound Chavez advice once again Riz. I finished 4th at +1 due in large part to not throwing a shot that rolled down the ridge all day. Good luck on Saturday.

I am not going to play. I'll be there next month, but you will be playing a bigger tournament. Good luck at Worlds.

Carl, good luck at the monthly. I'll give you some competition next time.

Yeah, if you're back tomarrow Dave, you guys can meet up with me at SV if you feel like it. I should be there most of the day. I will be working out in Brawley this week (somebody, anybody, please loan me a basket!!!), and will be leaving too early to play Monday Dubs at SV. Either way, I should get my paycheck today and I would like to set up a group to go and play a tourney they have set up at Sunrise next Saturday. Talk to me when you get back, and have fun.

Carl - Brendon and Brittony are planning on playing Wrightwood next week and may be interested in carpooling.

If you have gaitors, wear them - lots of burrs and stickers!!

Default Frisbee and Disc Golf in the News

Check out the front page of today's Union Tribune - Josh Damuron's mug is there alongside a story about the 50th anniversary of the Frisbee. It's an AP article so there's no local angle to it, but it's nice they put a Morley regular on the front page.

I saw that this morning, that was nice. In due time, maybe they will start covering disc golf.
