Factory Direct Chicken Outlet... you mean you went by Pitch the Ditch's pad before coming to Tilles

We've got one of these for Mr. Garcia look-a-like, just in case furpuppy lucked an ace in....

Last week-ends wind and different pin positions wrecked havoc on a lot of handicaps, lots of the no more than +2 stroke anti-sandbagging rule

The potential new beginner/child friendly 9 hole course is flagged and staked, check it out (by the bmx track) and let people know what you think, it makes for a fun "object" course right now, allows alot of "upshot" practice from the tee Hopefully this will give young children and newer players a fun place to start out, alot of beginners are discovering Tilles, which is cool, but Tilles has some obvious overcrowding issues, at least this might provide an option....

The alternate pins for this layout is gonna be awesome, alot of water hazard, more trees and some "mando" fun, It'll be awesome to see a 27 hole tourney layout if all goes well.

The proposal is in the Parks Dept. hands, their next meeting is April 9th, depends on what they say, also depends on some fund raising efforts which should be doable based on the last time we raised funds for the tee-pads and signs...

we'll see

Wow!!!....Handicaps are cool but sounds complicated. Especially for us Okies. ......I've got baggers left and right at my mini's. .... I thought about having a rule that says if you finish first or second by 5 or more strokes above the general group that you should automatically get moved up to the next division. Or if you finish within 5 strokes of the winner of the next higher division that you should automatically get bumped up also. Stealing plastic from true novs is BS.

I think at Chandler I'm going to give bags of sand as trophies for the guys who win by 7 or more strokes above the group average and then award a super cool trophy to the true nov winner. You can always find em. They're usually about 4 or 5 spots back from the "Not-so Novice" guys.

I somehow wound up with Uncle Benny

Actually I think it belongs to Brian but of course Pitch ditched the mini before all the cards got in (he played the full round, just didn't have time to wait on us slow pokes) anyway, we wound up trading tags a few days later..

I think Uncle Benny has to be the coolest tag, there's like 10 of them snot yellow tags and 90 of them black tags but only 1 tag has 3 digits

I'll almost hate losing it when I come up there and whoop up on ya'll

back to the handicap thing, it is a pain to keep track of but the sad thing is that we average between 4 to 10 people per mini usually always with some true beginners, chitty golfers like me and real good players also in the mix, I wish we had enough to just do divisions but we don't, if we did, it'd be easy to spot the baggers and move em' up, besides with the handicap way it keeps the payout larger and it's very surprising at how the same players don't win all the time, it's pretty spread around, keeps em' coming back when everyone is level and has a chance at winning,....

much more about hanging and learning with fellow golfers than true competition and rewards improvement more than anything else

I wish I truly understood the pdga ratings better, right now I'm utilizing a method that Chuck Kennedy utilized before Ratings that is basically the ball golfers way modified a lil for DG

So are you saying the "New Ditch" is a loser?

Good job Tom, that takes a lot of courage and admitting it is the first step to recovery.
