From what I've seen, Gateway bags are only slightly less durable than Revolution...and most of that is due to Revolution's truck vinyl bottoms and more durable frames.
This is anecdotal evidence based on observation of (mostly) other people's bags though. The Lightning large bag may well have the worst durability I've encountered, mostly because the seams that hold the end pockets to the bag will eventually tear under the abuse of carrying a 1 liter drink bottle in the drink pockets that are designed to hold such.
