Two meter will NOT be in effect.....the fairways will NOT

be needed and the trees above baskets will have birdy gloves in

them.........stick in a tree above a basket is the same as the parking the

basket.

Vinnie, those are awfully big letters.

So, what you are saying is that now I can aim for all the helpful trees.

It was not in effect last year and you took fourth, made some epic shots (that putt in the playoff with Anthony), and really impressed me with your skills and sportsmanship. Please do not let this one hitch ruin the event for you. Also, IIRC, you shot a 50 on the "thumber" course...not too shabby. Finally, there are several new tee positions and OB's that will put the squeeze on those slightly less evolved overhead chuckers. So, should I put you down as attending?

The 2 meter rule is NOT in effect because..... The PDGA can not decide to make it a rule or not..... Rules are rules... I think its should be a rule... But its not.... untill it becomes an official rule "NOT A TD DECISION" the 2 meter rule will not be in play at any Fly Ink events. I dont belive the PDGA should give a TD the power to Decide what any rules should be.... This only causes stupid human drama that the sport dose not need. I wish it was a rule. I realy do... but its not... Its a DECISION!!!! And that my friend is wrong. This was a Fly Ink decision not a TD decision.

Heres where it gets lost.....2 meter was a rule when many courses were designed....now that its a option.....it takes away from the design.....kinda like calling a lake a casual lie. That is my only issue with it the option, its not that I don't like the shot, it is a valued add to one's bag. But if a course was designed with OB roads everywhere, then the city took up the roads....the design is comPROMised.

The TD decides what rules are in play at every tournament. The most obvious decision is: what is OB during the tourney? The 2 meter rule is no different.

No they dont... THEY INFORCE THE RULES. OB is OB they can decide were OB will be but they can not change that rule. Jump puts in side of ten feet... Not going to happen. Walk in to a lake and find your disc... Now shoot from that lie.... Not going to happen, OB and the 2 meter are not the same.... This is only my opinion and am not trying to ruffel feathers.

Agreed.... I think courses that were desined before the rule are hurt by this.... Live Oak was.... McClain was not.... McClain is the thumber course not Live Oak... But as I said before.... Make it a rule.... If we put the 2 meter in play we will get the same crap from the other point of view..... And that is the problem!!!! Make it a rule... No problem.... Ride the fence.... Problem... I dont ride fences.... Plus I contacted all tour pros on the list and 100% said no 2 meter... [B]ut the Bottom line is I simply dont belive in the choice.... Make it so or dont..... if they dont I am not going to use it. Thats my desision and I am sorry if people dont agree with it..... But Its really not that big of an issue is it...... REALLY????

At McClain where the whole back nine is 2-3 shots easier with a thumber......BTW I like the choice...don't need the 2M rule on a course with 50ft cedars everywhere (Columbia, MO). I saw a guy win with 12 2M penalties...and if you ask me that is the kind of course where @M is not needed.

BTW the same is true for guys like me who throw hyzers over the top....except they are harder to place within a 30ft circle.

Vinnie, come play the tournament despite your issues with 2M and thumbers.
The victory will be all the sweeter because of it!!!!

Plus, I want you to hand me that Vibram package personally when I win it.
