Default New Henderson Course

Just heard a new course was installed off Horizon Ridge near Gibson. Anyone know exact location and when it will be open? Is it up in the foothills of Black Mt? How many holes and what type baskets?

Don't know any of the details. The LVDGC had nothing to do with it, and came as a shock to the Club that a new 9-hole course was installed. We don't have any contacts with the City of Henderson on new park development.

I drove by there today and it's at Paseo Verde Pkwy and Horizon Ridge Pkwy. Looks to be a really short 9 holes which is still fenced off. Pads look a little funny and the distances on the tees look ways off as they are in yards and should be in feet. I have an email and call into the city to see what else they have going on to see if we can be involved.

They did the same thing at Anthem with the tee pads having yardage on the pad. If it's not too windy this weekend might be able to check it out.

Drove by this course today, fence still up so I didn't walk the course. Looks like Mach 3's. Tee pads look like dirt. Baskets look close to walkways and picnic area.I designed those power lines that cross thru the park back in the late 80's. We can all get a nice dose of EMF. Probably will not get much play.
