Thumbs up Tulsa ice bowl , 2011

… the 2011 TULSA ICE BOWL on Jan.22 Saturday will be obviously BIG … ( they ALL are , ay ? ) … and also involved with the Disc Golf and Fun will be MORE POKER CHIP drawings from “Flights Doubles” players … BIG ? … oh yeah , it’s gonna be B-I-G ! … so much so , that I’ll probably have representatives from Funk-and-Wagnalls overseeing the Drawings while the Players Play … more , MORE details later …

… the Treasure Chest soon to be revealed will include more CE (go figure) … one point of detail is that ‘my name’ remains on the Poker Chips as well … by way of “TD discretion” (as I announced at the Double-O) , that possibility will be dealt as follows :
… first “Forest” chip drawn : will go to the most-numerous in ALL “Flights” drawings …
... second “Forest” chip : will go to the most-numerous in this ‘series’ (Nov.5 thru Jan.16) …
… third “Forest” chip : will go to second-most-numerous in ALL “Flights” drawings …
.
.
… I will give you some definitive numbers on those individuals shortly …
.
.
... I will be calling-upon the talents of our "Camera Guy" Gary Nail with some gleaming photos soon ...

Smile Full Boat Website ! ...

… FULL pop now up on the TDSA website for The Tulsa Ice Bowl … thank you , Steve Ward … read all-the-details … it could-be (should-be) the “smoothest-flowing” Ice Bowl we’ve had … a different structure for getting your 36-Holes played … a little ‘looser’ on specific times … ( because face it : the bigger our Crowds are , we have many ‘loose personalities’ in the mix , ay ? ) … 2011 could have our Sport “shining” again in January, as our annual Show-of-Strength for a Great Charity …

Thumbs up

... as for the number of Chips in this CURRENT upcoming drawing ( in the pillowcase ) ... the names below are the most prevalent :

Lee Joshua = 6
Justin Lamproe = 8
Brad HOI = 7
Anson Adams = 6
Tommy Agent = 6
John Barton = 2
Charlie Chung = 2
Seth Cook = 3
Doug Duff = 8
Teresa Duff = 4
Gary Harrison = 2
Bryan Hinds = 5
David Wise = 4
FurDog = 1

Forest = 10

... two more "Flights" tourneys ... one Saturday ... one on Sunday, the 16th ...
.
.
... as you may recall , the second time a "Forest" Chip is drawn : the "current series" largest # will win that one ...

Can we at least make it "must be present to win" if your name is drawn.....nevermind everyone is always at this event anyway!!
How about you must have played ALL 18 holes of the event that earned you the chip in the first place........That should put me with more chips than Twoputt

I am thinking there should be a re-match of the Hinds vs. Wise challenge. Once again loser paying 50 towards the Ice bowl Charity. Anybody agree with this???

50 or nothing, I am strapped this year. Also I have something in the works for next year for charity. So I will just do the same as last year. 50 and I get the push!

I've seen you at the craps table in Vegas remember?

You don't lose.

I bet against you last time but I have become a "True Believer" in your skills when it come down to you against Hinds.

Smile a Challenges fur the Ages ...

... funny that was brought-up again ... because here's a little drift I was composing to post-up for Public Record :
"
"
… I think that Charity Challenge-Matches are an excellent idea ! … so-much-so , that I am willing to risk my-own-self (and other friends) in the process … my buddy FurDog is a great Ambassador for the Sport ; Tournament-Director ; Organizer ; Course-Pro ; Cheerleader ; Administrator ; Grand-Wizard-Poobah ; Master-Of-Ceremonies ; and All-Around-Fun-Fellow …
.
… I explain all this (and how much we all dig him) in order to preface the following :
.
.
… in the interest of Charity : I . CHALLENGE . THE . FURDOG (cuz he’s just fun to be around) to a specific-partners-doubles-match …

FurDog (832) -and- Sarah Slane (832)
- - - - vs - - - - -
Forest (829) -and- Martin Norris (811)

… by ‘ratings’ , this looks perfect … plus we all like each other … think of those smiles …

$10 per Player ; with all forty-bucks to go to The Ice Bowl for The Community Food Bank of Eastern Oklahoma …

… 18-Holes of struggle … here or there … Moose or Bear … (or anywhere else) …

Winning Team wins : that warm-fuzzy-feeling of good-deeds-done , Disc-Golf-Karma , and bragging-rights over the other Team …

Losing-Team wins : same-things (except no bragging-rights) …

Best-Time for All ? : probably a Sunday … could be this (14th) at Haikey ; there’s a 2:00pm Mini following … could be next (21st) at Hunter at 11:00am ; there’s a 1:30pm Mini following … could be Sunday December 5 which is ‘open’ …
.
.
.
… previous attempts at this grouping have been conveniently ignored … or maybe they’re too a-skeered to respond …

Sorry Wayne but after my conversations with Karen Keith this weekend at the United Way Tourney, I have to consider my image and how Sarah and my beatdown on a couple of old farts like you and Martin might affect my up coming run as a candidate for local government.

Yes, Disc Golf made me what I am today but my heart is telling me to stay the path to bigger and better things.

And all that aside, Sarah Slane is one of my "Arch Enemies".

It would be like "Mutley" teaming up with "Pennelope Pitstop" to battle "Grumpy Old Men".
