Ladies Of Live Oak
Hello all. Its been a long time since I have posted anything about the Ladies Of Live Oak, I really dont have any new info but I thought I would start a thread about it.
We will be starting up again in the Spring once the time changes. If you have any questions or concerns or anything else email, pm or post. Also if any ladies would like to get together for a casual round post it here, or contact me. Thanks for the support last year and 2006 will be bigger and better!! |

LOLO\'s ARE BACK IN ACTION
After a long Winter break the Ladies of Live Oak will be back in action on Wednesday March 1st at 5:30. I know the time has not changed yet but we can get in some golf before it gets dark. Meet as usual at the picnic table by 28.
This year I would like to raise money for LOLO mini's and maybe some bag tags. If anyone has any ideas feel free to let me know. And as always....BRING YOUR BAGS AND GOOD ATTITUDES.

Sunday March 5th, 2006 Is the day to play, learn and enjoy disc golf at Circle R Ranch in Wimberley, TX. United States and World Champion Des Reading invites all women disc golfers to a special day of workshops and play. The day will consist of 2 hours of instructional work to improve shot selection, strategy and throwing fundamentals. Bring a lunch and stay for the group round afterward. Groups will go out together and Des will filter in and play with all groups. This will be a fun time to observe and use real round golf shots to applied workshop knowledge. Questions: twirlyeti@yahoo.com Cost is $20 and includes Circle R green fees, an Innova Champion disc and the workshop 10 am on Sunday March 5th @ the amazing Circle R disc golf ranch From Austin, take 290 west through Dripping Springs, left on FM 165 and go 8 miles, left on FM 2325, Circle R is 3.2 miles on right. CONGRATS AGAIN STACEY!!! This I think was the first Ace during LOLO night!! Right Nelle? We had a good night lots and lots of mosquitoes but all and all it was awesome!! We will try to continue to play LOLO nights on Thursdays now but it gets dark by 7:30 and we barely got 8 holes in last night, but don't forget starting November 7th LOLO days start and we will have plenty of time... Twisted Flyer has teamed up with the tournament directors of the Texas Womens Championship Ed Coffey and Vinnie Miller to bring back the Birdies for Boobies fundraising campaign to raise money for both the 2010 TWC and the Susan G. Komen Foundation. At the 2009 TWC Twisted Flyer had started Birdies for Boobies and donated $1.00 for every birdie the ladies made during the tournament. The ladies raised $150.00 and Twisted Flyer dontated that to the Susan G. Komen Foundation on behalf of all the participants at the TWC. This year we can raise even more money for Susan G. Komen and the 2010 Texas Womens Championship by purchasing SWEEET Innova Inncolor TFR Star Roc's, Star Mako's, and Star Roc+. All profit from these discs will go to the biggest womens tournament ever the, 2010 Texas Womens Championship and the Susan G Komen Foundation. Help support womens disc golf and finding a cure for breast cancer all in one disc!!!
The discs are in and just put them in the Twisted Flyer Pro Shop. Makos, Ontarios and the New Star Roc+. Only a few, better get them now! Support the ladies!
