Default Re: Best Dallas area courses?

from the fairfield in irving, fritz is a no brainer, especially for a quick nine holer in a pretty park.

then its a short drive south to cedar hill where you can play two 18 holers, one of which is good solid classic disc golf, the other somewhere between a tight demanding course and a crap shoot, depending on how your game is going that day.

from CH it'll take about 30 minutes to get over to ZBoaz and a very solid mix of tight fairways, technical challenges and straight ahead discing. play two times around, once from the shorts and once from the longs - its well worth the time for the second round.

after that, i'd hit Grapevine, where you can also play two sets of teepads that will work everything you have. if you;ve still got time and arm, Jimmy Porter in Carrollton is a total blast, and a couple miles north is Greenbelt, where the creek down the middle can really mess with your head on most of the holes.

IF, and only IF, you want to waste your time with pedestrian, predictable and entirely boring disc golf, THEN go play Lake Lewisville.
