Cedar Hill has the 2 best 18 hole courses.

If you have time, you can play
Zboaz
Arlington
and either Crawford or Ideal Ranch (pay to play)

All three are about 15 min apart on the south side of Ft Worth.

Other courses worth playing.

Autobaun (best course in the DFW area if you ask me, but dirt tee pads and home made baskets lowers it ratings)

Lake Lewisville - most popular course in the North Dallas area
Jimmy Porter - Very popular course
Greenbelt - not a bad course but not a popular one because it has a lot of water.
BB Owen - about the same as Greenbelt, not great but it gets A LOT of play from the locals.

Grapevine Bear Creek, very good 18 hole course with 2 tee pads per hole. Every hole also has alternate pin placements too.

Irving has the best 9 hole course in Texas. If you have the time, it is a good course to play.

You can get in 4 rounds playing the 2 in Lewisville and 2 in Carrollton if you want. (all within 15 miles of each other too)
