Spoken like a true Californian. Those courses aren't even in Dallas County, ya dam hippie.
Although some would disagree (because they're bitter lefties) the Lake Course at Lake Lewisville is wonderful.
And, if you're willing to drive around the Metroplex a bit, Rhett's suggestions are awesome, as are the two courses in Cedar Hill. Those are two of the best Texas courses I've played.
And, if you really wanna see one of the true gems in Tejas, get on I-35 and drive south for about a hour and a half (all highway) and play Cameron East in Waco for some real challenging golf, and/or Olde Cameron directly on the other side of the Brazos River for a shorter but beautiful round of golf.
