Re: If you had 200 dollars to spend on a Disc Golf bag which one would YOU buy?
Quote:
I can attest to the durability of the Gateway bags! I won a Gateway Player bag at Am Worlds in 1998. I carried it for 6 years and did just about everything to a bag that you can imagine (kicking, stomping, covering with pins and patches, running over with a car, dropping off a bridge, lighting it on fire...ok, maybe I am exaggerating a little, but you get the point). The bag is still in great shape, and I still use it when playing some of the short, dusty local courses...that is, if I am not carrying my discs in a plastic grocery bag (long story...don't ask).
I am currently using a Gateway backpack bag (that I also won) because I can cram extra towels and discs into it. For the record, I fit 42 discs and two towels into my bag the last time I threw in a field. Also, since the Midwest is in the midst of the spring thaw, I don't care how muddy or wet my bag gets.
When the nice weather rolls around, I will get my Revolution bag out of the closet. I must admit that after spending $100 on a bag, I have become much better about not kicking my bag after the occasional bad shot!
