Tree Klunker, if you have back problems and are not getting a cart, definitely stick with Quadshoks whatever you do. I would not suggest the Gateway backpack. I have never seen a backpack sit correctly. It always looks like a little lean backwards and everything is coming out. I think this will put undue stress on your back. At least with the Quadshoks, you can adjust them to your liking. And the "Shok" part of the straps might just be the best thing for your back.
