Default Re: Question for Dave D

Mattias, the numbering system question has been answered several times in the archives. Please refer there as it is a long answer. The comparison of Starfire with Viking question....The Starfire and the Viking have similar high speed stability. The Viking could be rated at minus .5 also. The Starfire is more low speed overstable. The Viking is a pretty straight flyer for a pro. The Starfire has a stranger flight characteristic. The Starfire will hold hyzer and anhyzer pretty well. It doesn't hold flat very well. That is what the Viking does well. The Starfire is very fast it doesn't carry well on a hyzer or flat, but has very good carry on anhyzer. The Viking carries either way or flat.

By far, the most important part of any shot is what is happening in the last split second as the disc is pulling itself from your grip. Focus there. It's the key.
