That makes complete sense.
My problem is that unofficial results frequently contain errors when the TD or helper rushes to upload the results that the players clamor for. Then I'd have to re-do the SoCal points with the official results. If only every SoCal player were a PDGA member, then my macros and formulae would make it a trivial exercise. Unfortunately I have to manually look up a bunch of SoCal memberships, depending on the tourney. But then again, all of that is my problem.
