Dave -
Thanks again for Blizzard!!! My 150g Blizzard Katanas were go-to distance discs last week at the Beaver State Fling. Very predictable flight, putting me out on the fairway past most of my competitors. Nearly all of the players in MG1 were throwing Blizzard discs, and those that didn't probably are from now on.
I received two other Blizzard discs just before the trip to Oregon. A 149g Blizzard DD2, which (once I figured it out) became a great hyzer-flip turnover disc, very useful on some of the long Milo holes. The second one, a 147g Blizzard Krait is crazy overstable and very nose-angle-sensitive. The only way I could get a decent flight out of it was with a heavy flex line. I might try it with the Bonopane grip to keep the nose down.
Also, many thanks for the Factory Store. It's a good way to get some specialty discs out to the players. I picked up a gummy Valk and 2-ring Aviar that I'm very pleased with.
Keep up the good work!
Allen
