Winter issues of Disc Golf World and Disc Golf World News used to list multiple tournament winners. For instance, just picked up the Winter 1996 issue and in the open division, Climo won 23 times. Next best was Stan McDaniel and Mike Randolph with 7 followed by Chris Voigt, Larry Leonard, and Craig Gangloff with 6. Beth Tanner (7), Teresa Keith (6), and Becky Powell (5) were the women leaders.
If anyone ever wants to head up a History of PDGA Tournament Stats Project, I'd be glad to help out. A possible funding source would be to apply for a PDGA Innovation Grant. The PDGA has boxes of paper result from the 80s and 90s in storage that would be great to get into the record.
