Dang, I miss a meeting and looks what happens

I've never seen an official mini with only 2 players, reason being you have to have 3 so any rules infractions can be dealt with (i.e. foot fault)

I'd call it as not official for those reasons

As for combining ace pots:

I'm not opposed to combining into a "roaming ace pot", HOWEVER, their should definitely be a transition period for players to know instead of immediately (i.e. Jan 1 forward)

example:

Ben Geren Regulars on last Saturday: "How much is the ace pot?"
Answer: "$200" -
They show up this Saturday, "how much is the ace pot now" -
Answer: "$12, It got hit at Tilles last Tuesday"
Players: "When did we start doing that, that's ####, I'd of been there if I knew that"

The above figures are an example, I do not know how much the "Ben Geren Ace Pot" is

Another issue I'd see is if this is going to be a club check for payment, anyone we'd pay over $599 in a 1 year period, we would be required to issue a 1099 tax form
