I, Manny Gonzales, of Team Rock Dawgs, representing Double R Disc Golf Club, do hereby submit an apology to all club members that helped me get the team together, that allowed me to represent the club as another Established Team, only for me not to show on the second day of play due to my inability to not be able to handle my drinking. I put myself in a situation that I could not get out of due to my existing epileptic condition as I need a minimum of 6 hours sleep with not drinking and more with drinking. I did not get home till about 1am that morning and was up at 5, still very blurry. I did not want to drive back sunday morning as i didnt want to get a DWI or put the other player i was taking back to Teams life in jeopardy as i could have had a seizure while behind the wheel. As there is no DWI backups for members similar to the acepot backups, i did not want to chance it. I realize the club REALLY stuck their neck out for me and helped me get my team together for Teams so quickly, and for that I am truly appreciative. I will continue to be an active part of the Cabinet, help to resolve issues with the club, vote on issues, and be a part of the best DG club around. I have no bad feelings toward any club members and I wish everyone in the club Happy Holidays and an even better Happy New Year Playing Disc Golf.
